Heading Out

Qi Qi waited outside as Dane did his medical check up. When he was done, they headed to McDonald's for lunch. He checked that Qi Qi didn't want anything to eat or drink before ordering. A while later, the food came and Qi Qi quietly watched as he ate his burger. Well, this is awkward.

"Have you ever...uh...tasted anything?"

She shook her head. She knew the words 'sweet' and 'sour', even though she had never actually experienced those tastes.

"So, you've never eaten or drunk anything. But, if you had to consume something, can you? Like...uh...do you know if you have a stomach?"

She nodded.

"Do you wanna...try my fries, then? It's alright if you don't wanna."

"I don't mind. Would you like me to?"

"Sure, go ahead."

She reached over, picked up a fry and gently placed it into her mouth.

"How is it?"

"It's nice and tastes salty."

Dane puts the fries closer to Qi Qi. "Here, you can share them with me. I can't usually finish them anyways."
