He plays the only game that is still fun

Once he was done with Paws stuff for the moment, he decided to check the watch he stole. Maybe it just looked bad but was worth something more? A quick look at online stores for the model would answer this question.

While doing exactly this he noticed something. If he used observe on his computer screen while it portrait of an article, it showcased the characteristics of that thing. What surprised him however, was that it didn't always do that. Every second time he recieved the pop up message observe failed. It didn't matter, this was the perfect way to level his observe up. The internet, if any place ever, was limitless in stuff to look at. He put the watch aside, no longer caring about it and started observing anything. From drawn pictures to ads to stuff you could buy.

After a few minutes he figured out it would go even faster if he would just ignore the results, so he decided to just observe more without reading what his observe would tell him.

No need to stop there, he went on, not planning to stop before all of his mana was spend. Which was not going to happen soon, considering observe took about 1 mp every third usage.

What did that mean? Wait, he always used the method he learned it like. By intensely looking at something and thereby activating it. Was there another way? He looked at his screen again, currently portraying a random picture of a car he found on google, and said "Observe" out loud. It worked, and he didn't even have to focus his vision on the car like usually. That means he could spam it even faster, even when it still costs mana that way. For the next four hours he used observe over and over again, only making short breaks to eat something and sooth his throat from constantly saying that one word.

He figured out that, for some reason, drinking large amounts of Milk was actually giving him the biggest benefit, because it trippled his mp regeneration, yet it left his hp regeneration completely unaltered. Once he was happy with his status he continued.

Hell yeah, if that wasn't a worthwhile grinding session he had no idea what was. Max level in his first skill and a follow up skill was unlocked as well. Based on the description it sounded like he was supposed to just throw these kind of spells around like he did with observe, so it was probably a skill for when he got stronger.

He looked at the clock and noticed it was only half an hour until he usually would get up. No need to go to bed at all then.

He used the time until his mother would get up to order his inventory. As he tapped on the word 'inventory' on his character sheet to open it, he accidentally moved his finger to the side to fast. This triggered something he didn't expect to be there. A second page. His character sheet actually had two pages.

He was not happy with what he saw. First of all, he was 18, and people told him he looked even older. So him looking 17 was straight on wrong! Second, Paw had sucked his dick, right after fucking with him. Why didn't that count? He should have a 1 in oral.

He quickly tapped with his finger on the 'Quest' tab, but as expected it only informed him that he has not accepted any quests at the moment.

He scrolled back to the first page, noticing he was incredibly close to a level up.
