While he wanted to stay true to his friend, Myrcella intimidated him. She was definitely her mother's daughter. Besides, if she reported him he could get in serious trouble, and Bran did not want to jeopardize his trip south.

Bran mumbled an apology as he shamefully slipped past Tommen and Myrcella. The princess barely regarded him as he passed, like he was barely worth the time. Tommen looked like a hurt puppy, his eyes watering as his new friend abandoned him. Bran probably wouldn't be able to salvage this friendship.

Closing the door behind him, Bran contemplated where to go next.
