Chapter 18 by TheScyle TheScyle

How to the people react to the License system?

He is going to find out

It was already getting dark and Galagil was tired. Still, he had no time to relax. He had spoken the command for his documents to be in effect, so not following up on them now would probably turn everything he had planned for later into chaos. With that in mind, he was angry at himself, for making the 'normal statements' already. Well, being it as it is, it looked like he had to pull an all nighter.

Galagil left the bar once again. He did not spent any time even looking at the new owner. Instead he rushed out and looked through the city. Heading for the shopping district he was lucky that it was still open. Weird on first thought, considering the time. Then again, in the town of the beginning, everyone should be able to start an adventure even in the late evening.

First he considered going into a printing house to make a printed copy of his documents, but on second thought that seemed stupid. He had neither the needed money to pay them, and just telling them to do what he wants would not work, even with his powers. At least not yet. It also would make it harder to change things later on.

Instead he walked into the center of the town. He hung his freshly written documents on a black board and reaffirmed that nobody would mess with them by proclaiming: "It is normal to never take anything off this board and to read what is being put up here at least once a day. It is also normal that only Galagil gets to put stuff on this board." He was getting more and more scared, using this power. He had a bad feeling, as if every time he changed something to be normal, it could be the thing that later would come around to haunt him. That was why he wanted to use the Licenses from now on.

If he screwed up with them, then he could change stuff back. The things being normal were apparantly impossible to change back to... well, normal.

After looking around and seeing surprisingly much people still up he cleared his throat.

"Everybody, listen up! I am Galagil of the License Association. If you do not know about me, please read this board behind me to get all the information you need. Right now I am having a great offer for all of you. You can get your License book for the cheap price of 1000 Cor. Come now, it will never be this cheap again."

That wasn't a lie. He was planning on making big money on this system, next to some other stuff. So 1000 Cor would at some point be not even be worth a meal. However, on Floor 1, it was a lot of money. So much actually, that Galagil could see some groups almost instantly talk to each other about taking loans or to friends about lending them some. Those talks increased over time even, as more and more people read the board behind him.

After some minutes the first person to take his offer was a brown haired guy with a red bandana around his head. "Yo, I've got you your book and money, so why don't you make it a License book, dude?" Galagil was almost instantly tempted to hand him a book of the rank 4. This guy seemed like the cheer up/friendly to everyone type of guy. He didn't like him. If a person is nice to everyone, there is no way to say what he really likes and what not. A clear sign of a liar and traitor.

However, Galagil mentally called himself out. He did not have to deal with this guy again, so there was no reason just to blame him for anything. He took the empty book which the brown haired guy offered and opened it on the first page.

"What is your name... dude?" he added with still more spite than he wanted to show.

"Kurain! The guy who is going to beat this game and get us all out of here!" Yup. Definitely not liking that guy. Way to cheery.

"Great, Kurain. I usually would have you fill out a poll about your character to customize the ranking of your License book, but since we are on a sale today, you get ranked by me right here." He made that up on the fly, but having a personality test would probably really be a good idea later on. Not for the ranking of course, but just in general.

He grabbed his book and wrote down:

"License Book Rank 2

Owner: Kurain

Obtained: Day 4 of SAO

Valid until: Indefinitely

Galagil"

After signing it he passed it back and recieved the money for it. Just as the bandana head was about to turn away he shouted out.

"Huh? Hey, why did I only get a rank 2? Do I look like a child to you? I don't need nobody to pay for me!?" Galagil had expected some people to be upset about this, so he stayed calm.

"If you are having a problem with it, I will gladly change it to rank 4. If you want to get angry about that, too, I am sure I will hand out my first negative License to you." This shut him up. Still angry he turned away and marched off.

The second person to buy a book was a really attractive girl. She was just an inch shorter at Galagil, making her roughly 6'2 tall. He usually disliked tall girls but on her it just looked right. Her long blonde and straight hair was laying on her back. Her smooth skin was almost like it was photoshopped. Just that he was looking right onto it. Her tits, he would guess, were a B or maybe a C cup. Wait no. They just looked small because she was so tall. Now that Galagil focussed on her ovaries, he was sure they were at least a D. Yes, that would fit. A smallish D cup.

"Hello, there, you want to buy a License book?" He started the convesation. She just nodded. "Well then, I will need your name, age and 1000 Cor please." She handed him the money and then answered his questions. It was very hard for him not to laugh out loud instantly. Her voice sounded like she was right out of the chipmunk movies. She spoke in a frequency he would previously have guessed not to be able to reach without electronical support.

"My name is Evelina and I am 17. But I turn 18 in two days and my parents obviously don't play this game. So I have to buy my Licenses myself, okay?" She flirtatiously blinked her eyes at him, which probably would have worked, if he would not still have been close to falling down laughing.

"I am sorry, but you can come back when you are 18. I will upgrade your License book to rank 1 for free." He wrote down the same things he did for Kurain, just a change of names of course. Then, to add some more fun to it, he turned the page.

"How about this, I will give you a free License to show you I am sorry. Here!" He handed her back her book. As he knew what he had just written down, it was easy for him to follow her lips to see what exactly she was reading.

"License category: A-1

This License permits the owner to strip naked and finger her own asshole in public. She is also allowed to spank herself while admitting to being a dirty whore to everyone."

He saw no reason to ever make fingering your own asshole in public an action that would require a License, but he considered giving it out to be a fun idea anyway.

"I, ehm, thank you? I guess. Though, I don't really need this License, I believe." Again this voice, this time he chuckled a bit more at it.

"It's fine. So I will see you tomorrow with a guardian, or in two days to upgrade then?" She nodded. Obviously she knew about her own voice, so she tried to speak as little as possible. Clever girl.

Time went on and Galagil gave out more License books. Most of them obviously were rank 2. In fact, the only way to recieve a rank 1 book was to be female, attractive and of legal age. If everyone else was recieving rank 2 books, that meant that every customer must at least bring a piece of eye candy with him or her to buy a License, if she wasn't sugar herself. He smiled to himself. This was a good start.

How many books does he give out 'so cheap'?
