He finds them before anyone else can.

Batman composes himself and sat up straight, clacking on the keyboard of his Batcomputer. "What are you doing, Master Bruce?" Alfred asked.

"I'm doing a follow up on a strange meteor shower that hit Earth a month ago," he explained. "Space satellites indicated that they appeared from out of nowhere and crash-landed in different continents." He pushed away from his computer and stood up, preparing his gear.

"But Master Bruce, what about your dinner?" Alfred reminded him. He had worked so hard on it to make it delicious for him.

"I'll have to eat it later. If these 6 meteors are what I think they are, then anyone will want to reach them first." He walked over to the Batmobile once more and hopped in to drive. Alfred sighed.

"Very well, Master Bruce..." He went back up the stairs as the platform turned to face to road out of the cave. Batman revved his engine and fire erupted out of the back to propel him forward so fast! He connected to the mainframe and had it project the information to the screen just above the gearshift.

"Computer, cross-reference nearest meteor sighting with current route." The map of the mobile car widened significantly and created a path between where Bruce was now and to where the space rock hit the ground: Akron, Ohio. So he switched gears and had his ride accelerate down the highway.
