He fights back, but there's something wrong!

"You really wanna be charging right at me, you loser!?" Bakugo shouted as he began ringing a barrage of blasts right at Izuku as he charged forward.

Izuku however, smirked, before leaping up, and over the blasts, counting on the explosions to obscure Bakugo's vision. Unfortunately, Bakugo was not born yesterday, and accounted for Izuku potentially dodging, glancing around to see if he emerged, before his gaze flicked up to see Izuku coming at him midair. "Damn," Izuku grimaced as Bakugo grinned, raising his arms. He had hoped to get the drop on him.

"Try dodging this in midair, idiot!" Bakugo roared, firing a large blast at Izuku. **** but to counter.

"Smash!" Izuku shouted, flicking the middle finger of his right hand, making it join the index in fracturing as he used the shockwave to disperse the explosion. Bakugo grunted as some of the shockwave buffeted him. Izuku landed, and with a snarl, Bakugo swung an arm at Izuku, intending to strike him with a blast at point blank range.

Izuku however ducked under it, and then came up, striking Bakugo in the chin, making Bakugo grunt and stagger back, dazed. Before Izuku could press his advantage, Bakugo threw and explosion down to the ground, creating a blast between them that partially hit Izuku and cause him to skid back, crossing his arms.

When Izuku lowered them again, he noticed something off. Bakugo hadn't moved immediately again, instead having stopped, and had his hands on his knees, sweating heavily and gasping for breath. "...what's going on? Kaa-chan shouldn't be this winded already!" Izuku thought. Then he froze as he remembered something about how Recovery Girl's Quirk worked... And realized just how much damage Bakugo had taken against Todoroki.

Recovery Girl, from her temporary office, sighed as she watched the screens of the match. "He really should have taken my advice and dropped out of the Festival, but nooo, he just had to keep going!" she sighed audibly. Honestly, she wished she had more leeway in just how injured someone had to be before she could forcibly pull them from the event. But as things currently stood, so long as someone could be brought to at least be physically capable of fighting, and was still willing to... Or in Bakugo's case, absolutely refusing not to, then she had to abide by that, during the Sports Festival at least, given how rare the opportunity to show what one was capable of to this degree was.

So, she had healed Bakugo, and given him a large dose of energy stimulants to replenish what he had lost to be healed, but she had warned him that they would result in him crashing hard later, so advised him to end his next fights quickly. Unfortunately for Bakugo, it looked like the crash was starting to hit him now.

"Damn it..." Bakugo wheezed, before glaring up at Izuku, and then charged right at him. Forget playing it safe from a distance, he had to end this now!
