Jaune and Emerald continued down the street, having idle chatter about... Well, everything really. They continued on with books, which lead to TV, then to acting, then their other hobbies, on and on and on again. Soon enough, the sun was starting to set.

Emerald tapered off the end of a laugh, calming after a bit of a joke from Jaune.

"Ah... Anyway... We should probably head back soon huh? It's like 5:30."

Jaune looked at his scroll. She was right! They'd been out here for nearly six hours at this point, but the time seemed to fly by. He was about to let her go when something caught his eye.

"Hang on. One more thing." He said with a grin.

"Really? Come on. We have a good thing going here. Don't ruin it by being cling--EEEEY!" She shrieked as Jaune grabbed her hand and started to run, rushing towards an ice cream stand nearby.

"Ice cream?" She panted. But Jaune noticed a smile on her face.

"Yeah. But if you really INSIST on leaving..."

"No no! I'll take some." She laughed.

"Perfect. Then I'll have a sherbet, and the lady will have...?"

Emerald looked over the flavors for a moment.

"I'll take..." Suddenly she seemed to freeze. "N-neo..."

"Neo? Neapolitan you mean?" The man at the stand asked. "Coming right up!"

"Huh. Good choice" Jaune added.

"N-no. Not... I..." She stammered. Jaune followed her gaze which eventually settled on a girl nearby. One he could swear he'd seen before... Maybe at Beacon? She was dressed in a rather garish look coat and bowler hat - her hair and eyes two different shades... But damned if she wasn't a sight. She had that sort of child-like innocence Ruby had, but there was something darker about her too there drew him in. Something sort of like Blake or Weiss. A sort of.. edge.

"You know her?" He asked

Neo, meanwhile, looked back at them with a devious smile, before starting to skip over to them.
