How did Zuko respond to this invitation?
He accepted.
"Okay." The wandering Fire Prince nodded down at her, bringing his ostrich horse to a full stop. The girl didn't waste any time as she hopped onto the back, wrapped her arms around his waist, and got comfortable with the complete stranger. Her perky full breasts mashed into the back of his chest as she looked over his shoulder, pointing him in the direction of her house. Luckily, it was away from the village. Away from those soldiers. Zuko was confident that he would be able to defend himself against them, but he'd rather stay out of the spotlights as much as he could.
One encounter was more than enough.
"So, what's your name? I'm Gembira," The girl introduced herself, and Zuko could feel how her hands were running up and down over his stomach. Feeling up his strong abs, while her body was writhing behind him - rubbing her breasts against his back. Clearly, she was trying to get some reaction out of this man who had barely said a word to her. Of course, with a beautiful girl trying to seduce him, Zuko's excitement was running straight down to his crotch. He cleared his throat, trying to focus on the road rather than giving in to his desires. It had been a long time since he really gave into them, however. Since his last stop in the Southern Water Tribe, where his entire crew got in an orgy with the horny local women. He had allowed the Avatar to escape there. If he hadn't done that, maybe he would've been sitting on the throne right by his father instead of wandering around like a beggar.
"I'm... I'm Lee." He mumbled, barely loud enough for Gembira to hear. He never mentioned his name to anyone since parting from Uncle Iroh, but he felt like he needed to use a fake name. He probably wouldn't be seen as very popular if he revealed his name was Zuko, the son of the Fire Lord. A lot of people hated his father, after all. Within reason, he supposed. He didn't like his father that much himself.
The ostrich horse rode onto a lonely dirt path, leading all the way to a pretty big farm. It looked pretty sad however, like it hadn't known any happiness in a long time. In a way, it reminded him of the palace at home, in a completely different way.
Apparently, this was Gembira's home. As they rode up, the noise of the ostrich horse attracted two people from the inside of the farmhouse. A shirtless muscular man - clearly the owner of this farm, or at least the one who worked there day and night - and a beautiful woman. She was somewhat older, probably the age Zuko's own mother would've been if she was still alive. Or still around, he supposed. It had always been unclear what happened to her. This woman was gorgeous, however. Her clothes weren't very fancy. A beige dress, made of whatever material they could afford, but it showed off her curves. A beautiful perky set of tits, a bit saggy due to age, but she was still very slim. Probably helped around on the farm as well.
"Lee, these are my parents!" Gembira's cheerful, youthful voice pulled him out of his thoughts, only then Zuko noticed that she had already jumped off the ostrich horse and ran over towards the two older people. Her parents. That made sense. The young girl was a sparkling resemblance to her mother, just a few years younger. She hugged both of them, pointing out towards the mysterious figure stopping right in front of them. "Mom, dad. This man protected me from the guards in town... I.. I thought the least we could do was offer him dinner!" She explained, and both of her parents smiled happily as they nodded. "Of course. I'm Gansu, and this is my wife Anya. It's a pleasure to meet you, Lee. You're very welcome in our humble home." The older man grabbed his shirt from one of the wooden crates by his house, getting dressed properly.
After having dinner with the family and getting to know them a bit better, Zuko had resorted back to the guest room. It was barely more than a stable but it had a soft bed and that was all he could ask for. He remembered how Gembira had been flirting with him all evening, being as subtle as she could in front of her parents, and how he had been making up a backstory for Lee. It was the first name he could think of, and he kept everything very vague on purpose. Luckily, Gansu had insisted that his daughter didn't ask too many questions, and so she had resorted to teasing him throughout dinner. Accidentally brushing over his shoulder when getting up to refill his cup of wine. Letting her foot run over his thigh under the table. Zuko - or Lee - hadn't been very responsive, no matter how badly he wanted to be. Her parents were around, and he didn't want to take advantage of their hospitality. Besides, he was afraid of talking too much. Afraid that he might give his real identity away...
He tried to get some sleep, but he had just tossing and turning for a few hours. Thinking about his life. Past, present, and future. He had a lot of regrets, but he was convinced that he would make his future better. He would find a way to reclaim his honor.
