He Attempts to Negotiate With You

You couldn't move. This was something straight out of a horror movie. Like some sort of alien hiding himself as a human, just that the alien was instead a disturbing 40 year old man.

"Alright, how about you put down your weapon?" The man says cautiously. He puts his black pen on the floor. "Here, I'll put mine away too. I don't want to resort to ****." His voice was gruffy and deep, like he has been smoking all his life. Yet his tone was calm.

"No!" You yell back at him, holding the knife tightly in your hands. "What the fuck is this? Who are you?" You hold the knife out and point it at him. Your hands were shaking. "Explain yourself. I'm not afraid to use this." Your voice was shaking and full of fright. You weren't fooling anyone, but still, the man complied.

"Alright," He sighs. "my name is George Pratt. I'm homeless. A week ago I.... acquired this pen from a strange man, and as you can see, it can turn people into wearable skinsuits. And... I wanted to use it, to get myself a better life."

You gulp, and he continues. "This woman... your neighbor... She's an executive manager at some high tech company which resides in the building underwhich I live. Or at least used to live... apperantly the sight of a homeless man outside their entrance scared costumers away, so she had the city kick me out."

He looks at you with sad eyes. "Please, you need to understand. I am not a bad person. I lost everything thanks to this bitch. My life, my dog, the property and cash I had gathered for 4 years. She doesn't deserve this privileged life of hers." Your hand was shivering. You didn't know how to respond. "I hope you can understand. I am not a bad person. I am taking **** against a privileged woman who ruined my livelihood. I'm saving myself out of homelessness. Now please... drop the knife."
