What's next?

Harry hixster 32

Harry had lived an average life. He'd gone to school, gotten good grades, and went to a cheap community college to get some IT degrees. Once he got his degree, he set up shop in his hometown as a local programmer for hire, working with local businesses to improve their cyber security. With this well-doing, free-lance work, his life was a steady one until he had some kind of accident that he for the life of him couldn't remember.

The only thing he knew now about the accident was that he took some medication to keep himself healthy after the accident. Not too long after the accident, he got approached by the anti-terrorist group Shield to work at one of their data warehouses, where Shield kept their backup data in case of anything happening to their primary databases.

Harris was thrilled to have the opportunity to work for such a high-profile organization and immediately took the well-paying job at Shield. Though he did have to move to a smaller town that was right next to New York City. Harris packed his bags and left for his new town of golverville with no misgivings about his choice would take him from everyone he knew.

Since he was an orphan who had never known who his family was, and being a loner, he didn't have to worry about leaving anyone behind in his old hometown besides a few coworkers he was close to who would understand him having to leave for important job opportunities.

Once Harris had gotten settled into his new town of golverville and eventually found his work groove after working there a few months, Harris eventually began to feel the need to improve himself with 'old life, old town, new town, new life' saying seeming to ring through his mind the last few weeks of him getting settled into his new job routine.

So Harris decided what better way to improve himself than by getting in shape? So he began by jogging into the outer limits of New York in the early morning, mostly hoping to avoid the super fights between heroes and villains that went on in the inner part of the city.

Sadly, he would come to regret his choice because, as he was making his jog to work, a stranger ran up beside him and threw him something, which Harris caught reflexively before the stranger ducked into an alleyway.

Harris had about two eye blinks of a second to look down to see it was an expensive-looking purse before he found some kind of strange white gunk wrapping him and dragging him up towards the sky. Next thing he knew, he was looking down at the ground stuck to the wall by the white gunk going up and down like a yo-yo.

"Didn't get far, did you, purse snatcher?" A woman in a black-and-white suite said to Harris. Which he would have responded to, but before he could, she proceeded to gunk up his mouth too with her strange webbing. "No need for your excuses, just the purse." The woman in the black-and-white suite said who you were starting to recall was called Spider-Gwen.

You ended up waiting webbed up in the white gunk for the cops, while Spider-Gwen took the purse back to the Grandma it had been taken from. Luckily for Harris, the grandma had been called down to identify you as the culprit when she didn't confirm you as the culprit. The cops start to think that maybe that spider Gwen had grabbed the wrong guy.

They finally pulled the webbing off your lips so you could explain yourself, and you explained that a stranger threw something at you, which you caught out of reflex before disappearing into an alley. You didn't even have time to notice it was a purse that might have been stolen before Spider-Gwen had tied you up and had you upside down and gagged.

So while the grandpa got her purse back, you got a big apology for what was effectively an unlawful arrest at best or what could be considered a **** at worst considering you were gagged the whole time, which wasn't part of police procedure. So yeah, the police now owe you a solid for not calling the nearest lawyer and sueing the crap out of them.

You went to work late, but since you worked for Shield, they already knew what had happened, so you were excused for coming in late. You went about your work for the rest of the day before you headed home for bed, still a bit peeved about spider Gwen gagging you and letting you hang like a yo-yo, but figured it would be one of those funny in the future kinda things.

Unknown to anyone, the contact with spider girls webbing had awakened something in Harris. Some had tried to bury what had just awakened. While tonight in the cover of darkness, once Harris went to sleep, it would awaken and it would go on the hunt.
