“I will be in my workshop if you need me.” Inanna plainly states, stepping away from those two lovers with a slight smile on her face. “Have fun, my Ushumgal~.”

Hanging Out with Thea

Chapter 175 by GreenishNightLight GreenishNightLight

“Ugh... Do we really need to keep doing this...?”

The barbarian raises a single eyebrow, carefully tilting her head down to look at the bratty blonde sitting quite snugly in her lap. An upside-down face, cheeks faintly flushed and kissable lips pursed into a pouty scowl, stares back up at her. “Wasn’t this your idea~?” She playfully asks, unable to keep herself from smiling. “Spending some personal time together, I mean~.”

“Yes...” The noble girl simply sighs, unbothered by the rather big hand resting atop her soft belly, black-scaled thumb mindlessly brushing over the smooth fabric of her sky blue sundress. “But I would prefer if we were to do something more exciting than this.” She pauses for just a moment, her scowl quickly growing a little more genuine. “And, no, I do not mean sex, you degenerate of a Dragon!”

“Hey, what makes you think that I was going to suggest such a perverted thing~?” A teasing twinkle dances around inside the Drakling’s emerald eyes as she meets her fiancée’s soft-blue pair, peering through the lenses of that girl’s gold-rimmed glasses. “Actually~... Don’t answer that.”

Thea just shakes her head, letting her scornful gaze drop back down to the heavy book held in her hands. “What is the point of me even being here?” A tinge of exasperation underlines that question. “It is not like I am helping you anymore. You can already read well enough to answer any of your own questions just by speaking them aloud.”

“Well, Not So Cunning Linguist is weird like that.” The Drakling lightly shrugs her shoulders. “I don’t always know what I’m reading until I hear my own voice say it.”

Exactly. You already know how the letters are all pronounced, so you are fully capable of handling all of this on your own.”

A faint frown tugs at the corners of Krvavy’s lips. She leans ever so slightly further forward, bare chest pressing into that brat’s back as she gives the girl a gentle squeeze. Her nose nuzzles into silken strands of silver-blonde hair. Tender words whisper their way through her lips. “You sound like you could use a break.”

“Hmph... That sounds like a veiled insult...” Thea quietly huffs, pushing away the strong arms loosely holding onto her as she escapes the Drakling’s embrace. “Oh, shut up.” She rolls her eyes before Krvavy can say anything. “I know that you are not actually insulting me.”

Krvavy takes the fighting manual off of her fiancée’s hands – not that she had much of a choice with how that brat shoved it into her face – before closing that thing and properly placing it aside. “You didn’t need to leave my lap.”

“Stop pouting.” The silver-blonde brat straightens her slightly askew glasses... only to remove them a moment later, rolling her eyes as she sits down on a softly padded ledge of their large moss-covered bed. She reaches out and delicately drops that enchanted accessory of hers atop the book, before patting down her sundress to keep herself looking presentable. “We both know what would happen if I stayed there. You are bad enough when you have something that you are supposed to be focused on...”

With hardly a thought, the barbarian picks those glasses back up. She looks between them and her little princess. The slightly disappointed frown that wanted to tug at the corners of her lips reverses course, turning into a growing grin.

The faint blush colouring Thea’s cheeks burns just a bit brighter as her glasses are placed back onto her face. She does not resist, simply crossing her arms and letting that happen.

“Well then...” Krvavy slowly nods, satisfied by the beautiful sight sitting before her. That bratty blonde looks great dressed or undressed. But it doesn’t hurt to accentuate the girl’s gorgeousness even further. “If you don’t want to be cuddled and hugged tight... What do you want to do?” A teasing twinkle returns to her emerald eyes. “Finally going to explain that new cleaning spell of yours~?”

Even the mere mention of Thea’s lewd magic causes the girl to tense up. “N-no!” She hastily responds. “And do not even think about using Inspect on me!”

“Come on, it can’t be that embarrassing.” The Drakling leans forward, baring her carnivorous teeth in a wide and playfully predatory grin as her eyes slowly trail up her lusty loveslave’s stocking clad legs, that black silken fabric squeezing into soft flesh. Just like her fingers wish they could. “I already know that using it makes you horny and needy~. Surely there can’t be anything else to it, riiight~?”

“Ugh, no!” Thea’s far from faint flush deepens into a dark shade of red as she glares back at the barbarian, thighs squishing together to deny her Draconic lover a look up her skirt. “But that does not mean you can just violate my privacy all willy-nilly!”

Krvavy quirks her brow, emerald eyes jumping all the way up to that blushing brat’s beautiful face. “Willy-nilly~?”

“Sh-shut up!” The noble girl stutters slightly, her crossed arms growing just a bit more guarded... which just so happens to lift up the modest mounds of her breasts.

Even if the lack of any visible bra straps didn’t give it away, the way that Thea’s sky blue sundress clings to her chest makes it abundantly clear that she doesn’t have anything on underneath it. Well, not up top at least. Whether she is wearing any panties or not is honestly a coin flip...

“Thea, Thea, Thea...” Krvavy repeats her fiancée’s name as she slowly shakes her head, heart overflowing with joy. Her slightly rosy cheek comes to squish against knuckles, elbow pressing into her knee, as she gazes up at that girl with nothing but love in her eyes. “You are constantly reminding me why I, in a moment of weakness, asked you to marry me~.”

“Wh-what is that supposed to mean!?” The silver-blonde brat blushes even harder, that intense shade of red spilling down to her bare shoulders.

“It means that I love you~! I~! Love~! You–mmhn!”

Two dainty hands smack down over the Drakling’s mouth, reducing her affectionate words to nothing more than a mumbled noise.

“Sh-shut! Shut up!” Thea shakily demands, her whole body heaving with each heavy breath she takes. “Shu–aAH!” A surprised shout escapes past her pouty lips as she suddenly jumps back, glaring at the tapered tongue that had just licked across her palm.

“You are just so easy to tease~!” Krvavy coos, hooking a finger onto one of Thea’s own. Gently, she pulls that hand towards her. “Though is it really teasing if I’m telling the truth~?”

Krvavy!” The noble girl whines, pursing her lips and furrowing her brow in an adorable attempt to look angry. That act cracks and crumbles away as a single kiss is planted on the back of her finger, where a ring should be. Her breath hitches as a soft smooch graces her knuckles next. Carnivorous teeth carefully catch the tip of her thumb. She trembles and... quickly pulls her hand free from the Drakling’s clutches. “Sto-oohp...!

“Okay, okay~...” Krvavy exaggeratedly sighs, looking so incredibly insincere. “But are you sure that you don’t want to cuddle?”

Thea closes her eyes and takes a deep breath. “Ugh! You are hopeless!”

“Yup, hopelessly in lo–~... Right. Sorry, I said I’d stop...” Well, technically she didn’t say anything of the sort. But still, she should stop. That is what her Thea wants.

Hhnnn...” The silver-blonde brat makes an almost pained sound. She leans forward and hangs her head down, gold-rimmed glasses nearly slipping from her nose before their hooked arms catch onto the backs of her ears. Slowly, she brings her hands up and presses her fingertips into her temples, as if nursing a particularly unpleasant headache.

“Is... there a problem?” Krvavy genuinely asks, a tinge of remorse underlining her concern.

“Yes. You...!” Thea exasperatedly shouts, as if the answer was obvious. “How can you just act like nothing has changed?!” The girl lifts her head, just a little, and glares at the Drakling. Who simply stares back at her, a single eyebrow raised in quite the questioning way. “UGH!” She lets out a rather frustrated groan. “A-del-line! I am talking about what happened with Adeline!”

“Oh.” The barbarian blinks. “Well... what about her?”

Thea narrows her eyes even further, all but squinting past her incredibly crooked glasses. A fact that she seems to realize after a few long seconds. That functional accessory is soon straightened, its half-moon lenses making her stern scowl look all the sexier. “Are you being dense on purpose? Adeline is now... ugh... She is now one of ‘your girls’!”

“And...?” The Drakling gestures for Thea to continue, honestly not quite sure what the girl is trying to say.

“Ugh, seriously? Did you cum your entire brain out yesterday or what?”

“No need to be rude.” Krvavy gently sighs, slowly shaking her head. “Our relationship hasn’t changed, and isn’t going to change, just because Adeline is now a part of it. And it isn’t like we just added her into our lives either. She has been around for a while already.”

The silver-blonde noble girl intensely stares into the Drakling’s emerald eyes, her lips pressed into a thin line. “I am not talking about that.”

“Then what are you talking about?” The barbarian lets a bit of exasperation into her voice as she meets her brat’s gaze. “Stop beating around the bush and just say it already.”

“That little rabbit is completely lovestruck. The clingy thing is utterly infatuated. She is absolutely smitten.” Thea rolls her eyes, that simple acting oozing as much annoyance as her voice. “How many ways do I need to put it? The Halfling has fallen for you. Hard.”

“Okay, maybe I did cum my brains out yesterday,” Krvavy sarcastically admits, “because I don’t see your point. You are also lovestruck, infatuated, and smitten with me. Even if you try to pretend otherwise. So what’s the problem?”

A faint blush fills that beautiful blonde’s cheeks once more, clashing with her bratty – or perhaps a bit more bitchy – attitude. “I did not ‘fall for you’ in the span of a single day.”

“I’m pretty sure she had some ‘feelings’ before yesterday, unless that was just her heat...” Krvavy gently shakes her head. “But I kind of get what you’re saying now.”

Kind of?

“Come on, enough with the sass.” The Drakling reaches over and tries to pat her brat on the head, only to get her hand swatted away. As expected. But she still had to try. “Adeline... more or less... threw herself into a complicated and very far from normal relationship while under the influence of intense emotions that she almost certainly isn’t used to feeling. And you are worrie–”

“W-what?! I am not worried about that rat’s feelings!” The bratty girl quickly spits out, her blush growing increasingly intense despite her denial.

“Honestly, it’s really sweet of you to care about her like that.”

Thea’s blush deepens... as does her scowl. “I do not care about her feelings!”

That irritated interruption goes ignored. “Adeline is definitely out of her depth here, what with how different our relationship is to... well, anything she would have seen when she was growing up, I’d bet. And that can be pretty intimidating, especially since she is already so timid and shy. So it–”

SHUT UP!” Thea loudly shouts, her slightly shrill voice overpowering the grinning Drakling’s playfully rambled words. “I-I do not care one bit about that Halfling’s feelings! You can break her heart and it would mean nothing to me! Nothing at all!”

The barbarian’s head bobs up and down, up and down. “Sure, sure, I definitely believe you~.”

“I am serious!” The silver-blonde brat whines, crossing her arms in an adorable pout. “I am not worried about her, I am worried about you!”

“Oh? Is that so~?” Krvavy leans back and casually stretches her arms high, letting her hands come to rest behind her head, fingers interlocked. A teasing smile graces her face as she sees through her fiancée’s flimsy excuse. “Well then, go on. Explain just what you are worried about~.”

“You fall in love far too easily.” The noble girl scowls as the barbarian seems completely unbothered by that fact being pointed out. Which really shouldn’t have been a surprise. Krvavy herself has admitted that before. “All it would take for you to fall hopelessly in love with a woman is for her to give you a friendly smile!”

“Nah, I’ve got to disagree with you on that one.” Krvavy flippantly replies, continuing to act so annoyingly casual. “I can easily fall for an unfriendly smile, like a sneer. Or even a scowl. Case in point: you~.”

Ugh!” Genuine anger fills that utterly exasperated groan. “Just shut up for a minute and listen to me, you damned degenerate!”

Krvavy lightly bites the inside of her cheek. Slowly, she lowers her arms back down and, without saying a word, gestures for her frustrated fiancée to continue.

Hmph! You can not just go around collecting every woman that you come across!” Thea forcefully states, narrowing her eyes behind the lenses of her gold-rimmed glasses, her pout growing far more stern. “They need to be worthy of your love! They need to have some value to you besides their appearance! They can not just be random women off of the street!”

“Are you saying that Adeline isn’t worthy of being in our relationship?” Krvavy can’t help but break her, admittedly short lived, silence to ask that question, a tinge of ice underlining her tone.

“Yes. And no.” Thea calmly, and quite firmly, replies. “That rabbit just barely has a value, and only because she now has a part of your soul. The fact that she is better at cooking food than any of the rest of us is not enough on its own to justify her being one of your girls. Those who you fully claim as your own and who you fully give yourself to should be more than mere servants. You deserve better than that.”

The Drakling opens her mouth to respond, but is stopped before she can get a single sound out.

“And,” the noble girl holds up a singer finger, waggling it a bit as she speaks. “If you do not want to choose better women for yourself, then at least do it for their sake. You are the Champion of a God. We all know that it is only a matter of time until you make an enemy who would not hesitate to harm us just to hurt you. So, do you want your girls to be capable of nothing more than cowering behind you? Or do you want them to, in one way or another, stand by your side? I am not sure if you will ever find someone who could be truly equal to you and still be willing to become yours, but that does not mean that all of your girls should be utterly helpless. We should at least be capable of defending ourselves.”

Krvavy furrows her brow as she sits there in silence, letting the seconds drag into minutes.

“Not going to argue with me?” Thea sneers ever so slightly, her expression growing a little derisive. “Are you not going to point how I can hardly defend myself and how hypocritical it is of me to make this sort of demand? Well? Do you have anything to say?”

“I... I honestly didn’t expect this conversation to get so... serious.” Krvavy idly comments, before gently shaking her head. “But, uh, I don’t really choose who I love, you know.”

“Hmph.” The noble girl doesn’t look particularly convinced by such a weak excuse. “So says the degenerate who falls for every single woman that she interacts with.”

“Wouldn’t that just prove...?” Again, Krvavy shakes her head, letting that thought slide as she focuses instead on the much more important part of that accusation. “I’ll have you know that I interacted with quite a lot of women in Raseyne, and –”

“The Countess.” Thea dryly cuts off her Draconic lover.

“Oh come on, Rina shouldn’t count. She came onto me.” A frown finds its way onto Krvavy’s face as she realizes just how defensive her response sounds. “Look, I know that it looks like I fall in love with every woman I see, but that’s only because I... well, I barely interact with other people at all. I’ve just been incredibly lucky with the chance encounters that let me to meeting all of you.”

“That is hardly an excuse.” The bratty girl leans so far forward that her chest nearly touches her knees, eyes narrowing into razor sharp slits. “In fact, it just makes it worse. If you are so anti-social, then you should have even more reason to be careful about who you make such deep connections with.”

“Look...” Krvavy brings a hand up to her face, slowly massaging her brow with a finger and thumb. The fact that she also ends up covering her eyes is just a bonus. She doesn’t want to even be tempted to look down the front of Thea’s sundress where she knows the girl’s naked tits would be visible. Now is really not the time for that. “It’s just... Thinking about ‘choosing’ girls just because of their ‘value’ makes me feel like... It just doesn’t feel right.”

“And –?”

That said...” Krvavy almost immediately cuts her fiancée off, lowering her hand down just enough to let her look Thea in the eyes. “You do have a point. Oh don’t look so surprised. Or smug. This isn’t the first time that we’ve talked about this sort of thing...”

“But hopefully it is the last.” Thea huffs and leans back, trying to still look stern even as a victorious expression fills her adorably arrogant face.

“Hopefully.” The Drakling agrees, letting her lips curl into a slightly wry smile. “I’m not exactly a fan of being lectured. Especially when it’s about the same thing over and over again.”

Thea adjusts her glasses, rolling her eyes as she does so. “You would not have to hear all those lectures if you let the lesson through your thick skull the first time.”

“And miss out on getting to listen to your beautiful voice? Nah, I’ll stay dense if that’s alright with you~.” Krvavy’s smile widens as her cheeky response causes her brat to glare at her. “Your threats are completely useless on me. But do you know what might work? A reward. Like, say, a kiss. I’m sure that would be enough to make me take a lesson to heart~.”

“You are absolutely incorrigible!”

“Am I? Maybe I just need a reminder of the love that I have right now~?” Krvavy’s emerald eyes twinkle playfully as she teasingly challenges her little princess. “A lovely kiss would definitely refresh my memory and really hammer home what a special and amazing relationship I’ve somehow stumbled my way into~. Especially after all of that serious talk clouded up my simple barbarian brain~.”

“Ugh, fine!” Thea’s exasperated act is utterly undermined by the blush that is once more beginning to fill her face.

Krvavy tries to not look too smug as she remains sitting in place, letting that beautiful brat come to her.

Which is exactly what the noble girl does, the hem of her sundress swishing against her stocking clad thighs as she hops off the ledge that she had made her seat, hardly needing to take more than a step before she is standing in front of her Draconic lover. She wraps her delicate fingers around an upwards curving horn, holding quite firmly onto that handle as she slowly leans forwards and ducks down, moving in for the kiss.

“I really do love you, Thea~.” The barbarian quietly breathes out, causing her blushing brat to freeze just before their lips can touch.

“I... I love you too, Krvavy~.” Thea whispers back, looking a little embarrassed over the fact that she had all but been forced to admit that, regardless of how many times she has said it before. “Now shut up already...”

As much as Krvavy would love to playfully respond... She doesn’t get the chance to say a single thing before her fiancée’s lips are pressing against her own.

Mhhhmn~...!” A happy noise, one that almost sounds like a moan, emerges from deep within Thea’s body, drawn out by the arms gently wrapping around her waist.

Their kiss remains rather chaste despite the passionate love that they can both feel through this embrace. Their usual lustful hunger isn’t exactly missing, but it is completely buried beneath the current romantic mood.

One of Krvavy’s hands trails up the smooth fabric of Thea’s sundress, lovingly rubbing the bratty girl’s back. At the same time, both of Thea’s hands slowly slide down the Drakling’s horns and into crimson coloured hair, fingers finding purchase among the shoulder-length strands.

The beautiful noble girl’s tongue presses past the barbarian’s lips, seeking a tender dance.

Love surges through Krvavy’s heart as she returns her fiancée’s affection. The usual urge to let loose and use her inhumanly long tongue to utterly dominate the girl that she loves so much is still present, of course, but it hardly even tempts her.

Mhhhhmnh~...!” Thea melts into Krvavy’s embrace, just as the Drakling melts into her. In this moment, both the barbarian and brat are as one, minds empty of all but their boundless love for each other.

“Are –? Oh. Apologies.”

Thea suddenly jumps and pulls back, wrenching herself free of the Drakling’s embrace. She quickly spins around, so nearly whipping Krvavy in the face with her long silver-blonde hair, to glare heatedly at the intruder.

“I did not mean to interrupt.” Inanna calmly states, slowly glancing back and forth between the flushed faces of both barbarian and brat. “I had heard your voices on the way over here, but neither of you responded when I called out.”

“Ugh, you are not interrupting anything!” The flushed noble girl says that with just a bit too much force to be believable. “We were... We were just taking a break! What do you want?”

“I brought a gift.” The apron-clad Dwarf subtly nods her head towards an object that she is holding steady by her side, one that has been completely covered by a loose sheet and which is suspiciously large compared to her short height. “For you.”

Krvavy’s blinks in surprise.
