Grounded Version 3 Part 2

Moments later, as Haley hears the unmistakable sound of what must be Alex descending the stairs she realizes that her only possible hope of avoiding being caught by Alex is to hide in the large walk-in pantry so she quickly and quietly makes her way over to the closed pantry door, opens it, and slips inside before pulling it closed behind herself.

Mere seconds later, Haley hears what must be the sound of Alex entering the kitchen, followed by the sound of her opening the refrigerator and taking a drink after which Haley who is still hiding in the walk-in pantry is dismayed to hear the sound of her sister closing the refrigerator door and walking towards the pantry door.

Knowing that she is seconds away from being discovered hiding in the pantry by Alex, Haley desperately starts wracking her brain for a way to convince Alex not to reveal to their parents that she broke her curfew again until the very last moment when Haley watches the pantry door open and Alex appears and smirks at her before saying in an obviously amused and mischievous tone of voice:
