What does her mom say? Does she allow Haley to go take a shower? Or does she tell her to just go to bed? In either case, how does Haley respond?
Grounded Part 4
Yes, you may take a shower, Haley.
However, as part of your punishment, I want you to undress this instant and give me your clothes so that I can take them downstairs to the laundry room.
Upon hearing her mother tell her she has to strip naked while still standing on the staircase halfway up the stairs in front of her as part of her punishment before she will be allowed to continue up the stairs to the second story of their house and go to the bathroom to take a shower Haley gasps out loud and starts blushing before saying :
No, please, mommy! Don't make me strip naked in front of you. I'm sorry I disobeyed you again. I promise I will never break curfew again. Just, please let me get undressed in the bathroom and pass you my clothes through the door.
To which Claire Dunphy simply looks at her rebellious daughter and says sternly :
No. I said undress right now and I promise you that if you don't I will punish you even more severely.
How does Haley react to her punishment? Does she attempt to convince her mom to let her keep her underwear on until she gets into the bathroom? If so, does her mom give in or does she insist on full nudity?
