Groping Is Now Legal

When the law first passed, Mira was behind the curtain, waiting for her meet & greet to begin. She was a cosplayer and upcoming voice acting, with her new popularity anime conventions have been inviting her to intend a guest. It was a quick yes from her. Something that she was regretting as she watched the news and the new law that was being passed. It felt like every channel was showing the new bill that was passed and taking full advantage of it.

It didn't help that a security guard nearby was looking her up and down. The punishment for stopping someone who tried to grope her was being at their mercy for an hour. They could order her to go streaking across the convention floor and she'd have to do unless she wanted to go to jail. The person could also just order her to go to jail as punishment instead, and it'd be for a lot longer than just an hour.

The punishment would also be recorded so someone couldn't lie and say they weren't punished. Anyone who lied that someone didn't let them be groped would immediately be sent to jail, which offered her a bit of relief.

Despite that, her happiness was all but gone at the announcement. Everyone ounce of it replaced with embarrassment. It didn't help that the cosplay she wore was definitely making people want to grope her more.
