Gravediggin
The Krypt is, well, hell. The sky is dark. The land is damp. The water is filled with blood. Graves everywhere you look. **** devices are scattered across the place, equipped with tortured humans. But beneath all of those monstrosities, there are numerous in-game rewards such as costumes, arenas, new character to play, and coins as well. This place suits well for the exploit to be hidden, but the only problem is, there are literally hundreds of these graves and dead bodies containing those treasures. If that exploit is really hidden here, Randy will have to really break his sweats.
"Good thing I have this handy-dandy radar." Randy said. The arrow in the radar actually points to the Nekropolis, the big building at the northern-most area of the Krypt. The target probably waits there, Randy thinks, but it won't be that simple. He then walks casually through the graves and the helpless bodies, accidentally triggering some of the **** device along the way and killing the victim right away. Being made from blood, Skarlet's body actually absorbed any blood that get splattered on her, satisfying her unexplainable hunger with every drop. The triggered device and also grave actually gave Randy a treasure box which he can open, but he chooses to ignore it and proceeds directly to the Nekropolis.
Inside the building, he find a familiar sight from his game time. The Nekropolis is a kind of gallery mode of Mortal Kombat 9, which shows the player concept arts, character bios, and listen to music from certain arenas in the game. There are some lifelike statues of the characters of the game, trapped inside a big cylinder of greenish liquid, which normally used to view character bios and other character-specific achievement. "This is awesome." Randy said as he takes his time to look around the building. Strangely, the statue of Shang Tsung is shining brighter than other statues. Could this be the effect of the exploit he collected earlier ?
He approached the statues, and suddenly his 'companion' from earlier appeared before him.
"Congratulations on collecting your first exploit ! Each exploit will earn you a specific ability or power, which you can use to help you along the way. Activate the exploit by touching the statue of your choosing." The blue wisp explained. "This particular exploit of the game will enable you to transform yourself into any character you want. You may have noticed that your transforming abilities from your first playthrough is not available anymore until now."
Randy actually didn't realize that, as he didn't use other power beside possession in his second adventure. He can make Shang Tsung transform, but it is his ability all along, so Randy can't do it on his own.
"But because we are using an exploit, a loophole if you prefer it, you are not able to use more than one at a time, as the system will stop working if too many exploits are abused." The wisp continues. "This building will serve as your 'base' as it is located outside of the game world, rendering it inaccessible to anyone except the player."
"To find this building, simply adjust the radar to 'Main Menu', and the radar will automatically show you the way. Good luck...." The wisp closes the speech by slowly disappearing again.
Which power will you use on the next chapter of the adventure ?
