“It is so wonderful to see a member of today’s youth that knows what she wants.” Did he just say she? “I will talk with the staff and I hate to say your first semester classes might not be exactly what you would have chosen, but we have your transcript from your freshman year and we are confident that we can get you a schedule that will work and you are going to be given first choice on all of your classes next semester as well as your classes for your Junior and Senior years. How does that sound?”

“Um, okay I guess.”

“Now, the only thing left to do is get you a room and get you settled. Sadly we only have three spots left, and we are lucky to have these. The next two girls are going to have to take whatever you leave for them. The first option is room 211 in the dorm. Your roommate would be Olivia, or I guess it’s just Liv, heh, something you have in common, right? Anyway, she is a fine arts major, does amazing paintings. She might be a good choice. She has quite the alt look. Heck, I’ve witnessed her wearing ripped jeans much like yours. You are both highly creative and I’m sure she would love to have her picture taken. Second we have Violet, her original roommate dropped out after only three days. She is a bit standoff ish, has quite the gothic influence, she is studying religion and history. In her case you would be in the Henry house, it has 3 rooms, 2 bathrooms on the second floor and the 6 students then all share the downstairs, living and dining areas. Last is Lisa, not who I would normally suggest, as it is in the new co-ed dorm. But it is rapidly becoming the only real option for some. She is a gymnast, with a political science major, I think she has a chance of being on the Olympic team, but you know, sports aren’t exactly what this school is known for, but she gets good grades and seems nice. Very liberal I believe, her dad is a mayor. The room is actually quite nice, but as I said, the co-ed dorm. So, what do you think?”

Pick Liv, Violet, or Lisa? Or do you point out that you are a man? It’s not impossible that they are all gender neutral housing, right? Just a coincidence that all three are girls.
