Going to the beach

Making their way down the stone road through the woods, the three dragons stand tall with pride and walk slowly, as the truly confident often do. Perfectly understandable considering the circumstances. Dragons stand atop most other creatures, but even among dragons they are exceptional

Ember, the exquisite, a blue dragon known for creating the most sought-after dresses and garments in the land, it's said the money made from a single one of them would put dwarven treasure halls to shame:

The road they cross today is no ordinary one. Imbued with magic from the original dragon matriarchs themselves, merely finding the ancient paths leading to it is a feat in and of itself, a sign of both power and cunning. So the dragons keep their heads up, for they know where they are going they should expect to meet only the very best

Galloping behind them comes a happy little kobold, carrying their bags as fast as his legs can manage

He is very happy because it's his first time seeing the sea. He even asked his master Ember for one of those thongs you can swim in, so she got him what she called a "joukshtraph". It was a bit tight on the front, but she explained it was very stretchy, so he didn't have to worry about it snapping if he got exited

When they arrive at a crossroad the dragons go left, having already made this trip several times before. The kobold Zan is more careful, reading the signs first. Left was "woman" and right "man". Worried, he communicates his finding to the others "Don't worry Zan, that's just for dragons and the other main races, you can come with us. You know, the only reason the division even exists is..."

As Athena went on Zan tried to pay attention but, as usual, her long words and dragging speeches lost him. It didn't help that the only thing he could think of was getting to the beach. "...so you have no reason to worry really". He nodded affirmatively, even thou all he could remember was 'ancient breeding ground' and 'aphrodisiac effect', she knew about this kind of stuff better than him anyway

A doubt occurs to him. "Will there be other kobolds there then?", "No, very few other dragons have servants as... gifted, as you Zan, and even fewer would trust them enough to bring along". The only male kobold on the woman's side of the beach. Zan likes the sound of that! Makes him feel special

"A lot of new faces this year" comments Cynder as the group makes their way through the beach. She's right, this year saw a big number of atendees, and a lot of non-dragons. As she sees Zan happily set up their things before they even had to order it, a sudden worry crosses her mind. "Zan, pay attention. The beach is full of other dragons and powerful women, but remember that they aren't your masters, we are. You don't have to do what they say if you don't want to, understood?". Sensing the importance of what she said, he commits it to memory "Understood your highness. I don't have to do what others say if I don't want to"

With that settled, it was time to enjoy the beach. As the girls prepare for a sunbath, Zan eagerly awaits to be dismissed so that he can run to the water
