Goblet of Fire makes Harry into a child

Harry sighed as he sat at the edge of the Black Lake, thinking about how his life is going currently. Just when he was hoping for a normal year at Hogwarts, the worst happened and now he has to participate in this merlin's-damned tournament. What's even worse is that neither Ron nor Hermione believe that he didn't enter his name in the cup and now they won't even be in the same room as him. There is a silver lining though, and that's Colin Creevey, he really didn't think that the 3rd year that once annoyed him would turnout to be his light in the darkness. Now he spends most of his time with the 3rd year and as another positive by getting closer to Colin he has also gotten closer to Colin's little brother Dennis and with those two he has also gotten closer to the other 3rd and 1st years. So when not hanging out with Colin and/or his friends he'll just go and ask Dennis if he can play with him and/or his friends.

After one more moment of thought Harry jumped up from his seating and proceeded to head back to the castle as Colin said he was going to teach Harry some of the spells that he ended up missing out on in his previous years because of his yearly adventures. Hermione didn't have to worry about missing out on schoolwork previously because she reads giant tomes for fun and catches up easy, where as Ron whose naturally lazy actually has Percy to nag him to study. But, Harry was not naturally driven like Hermione, nor has an older sibling like Percy to make sure he studies. 'Until now.' Harry subconsciously thinks, as thoughts about Colin came forward, early in the time where Colin and Harry just started to hang out. Colin found Harry struggling over some of his homework, where Colin quickly found out Harry because of his yearly adventures only remembers two and a half years worth of spells, making him 2nd year spellwork-wise. This has dramatically affected his grade and he has only managed to pass his yearly exams by the skin of his teeth, in fact because of the tournament eating so much of his study time he's afraid he might even be held back this year or if the teachers really check how much he knows he might even be demoted 1-4 years. Which quickly brings him back to Colin offering to tutor him in everything he's missed starting today at 1st year.

Entering the abandoned classroom Harry can clearly see Colin standing near the window waiting for him with a confident and Harry unknowingly hopes deep down, loving grin. "Hey Harry." Colin says cheerily, "Hey Colin sorry I'm late I got lost in thought." Harry says, with a blush slowly rising to his cheeks.

"Hey don't worry about it I was only waiting for a bit." Colin said, as he saunters over to Harry and ruffles his hair automatically. Colin actually started to do this a month into them hanging out, not maliciously but more out of automatic response as he used to ruffle Dennis' hair as well before he complained saying that getting to old for it. It doesn't help that Harry is smaller than Dennis in the height department, being more the size of the average 8 year old than the 14 year old that he is. Harry also hasn't told him to stop and actually seems to enjoy it and if Colin is being honest with himself has missed ruffling Dennis' hair so just continued on with the action. Though unknowingly because of this has started to unconsciously treat Harry like an 8 year old Dennis and Harry never been exposed to a familial relationship has been unknowingly suck it up.

"Let's get started!" Colin said, and for the next 4 hours they did. Colin was patient and confident as he taught Harry 1st year spellwork, gently adjusting Harry's wand and correcting his pronunciation. Whenever Harry stumbled or even started to get frustrated tears in his eyes, Colin was there to kneel down to Harry's height with a quick hug or cradling and quickly wipe away tears with a tissue or if needed to gently remove Harry's thumb from his mouth when Harry begins to suckle.

"Thank you, Colin." Harry said, after drying his thumb on his shirt. He started to suck on his thumb in frustration after failing to perform the drying charm for the 5th time. Harry looked up at Colin, who was so much taller than him and thought, 'Dennis is so lucky to have Colin as a big brother, I wish I was Colin's little brother too.' and unknowingly at the time the Goblet of Fire glowed a little brighter but not enough to be noticed. As students around the Goblet were still discussing the fact that Harry wasn't 17 even though the Naming of Champions was 2 months ago.

"It's alright Harry, I'm just worried for you, you know that if you do bad enough that the could demote you to 1st year." Colin said, with worry as he kneeled down to Harry's height resting a hand on the shorter boys shoulder. "Well even if they do demote me to 1st year at least I'll have Dennis, Jimmy and Nigel to play with." Harry said, with an awkward grin trying to lighten Colin's worry. It was true as well, while he was closest to Colin his two yearmates Thomas and Austin treated Harry more as a positive tag-along than anything. On the other hand despite the age difference Harry actually got along more with the 1st years and unknowingly to Harry, Dennis seeing how Colin was treating Harry started to copy Colin and Harry was soaking it up. The Goblet on it's pedestal in the Great Hall was starting to doubt it's decision on Harry Potter being Champion and started to listen to the thoughts of the student body and especially focusing on the thoughts on it's questioned Champion.

"Hah! Well as long as you remain positive whatever happens things will work out, I guess." Colin cheerfully responded, to Harry's show of positivity before asking, "Also we've been at this for a while Harr-Bear do you need to use the potty?" As if by magic a wave of pressure started building and Harry quickly grasped the front of his pants and uncontrollably stated to do a pee-pee dance. "Yes! I gotta go wee-wee! I gotta go potty!" Harry exclaimed, with panic in his eyes as he started shifting in place but not making a move towards the door to the restroom a bit down the hall. Seeing Harry making no moves towards the door, Colin quickly snatched Harry's free hand and pulled him out the door and with some quick steps led Harry to the restroom and just as they reached a toilet, Colin heard liquid hitting the floor and Harry's uneven breathing. Turning around knowing what he'll see Colin saw Harry with tears rolling down his eyes clutching the front of his drenched pants. Seeing this Colin's brained automatically shot into big brother mode.

"Shh shh, It's alright big brother's here, it was just an accident, I'll clean you up." Colin not even paying attention to what he's saying, just trying to comfort Harry, started to strip Harry to clean his clothes. As he was stripping Harry, Colin noticed the run-down condition of Harry's clothes and made a mental note to owl his parents to send Colin, all of Dennis' clothes from when he was 7-8 years old, he'll tell them theirs's a donation assignment for his year and he has to donate clothes for a 7-8 year old boy. He'll also make another mental note to check if the Diagon Alley Owl Catalogue has a section on diapers or training pants, just in case this isn't a one-off for Harry.

"Th-thank you big brother." Harry said, not even paying attention as his emotions were all over the place and just trying to soak all of the affection that Colin's giving him. It was in this moment that the Goblet made it's decision and a wave of magic was released across the whole castle sweeping across everyone but primarily focusing on three boys: Harry Potter, Colin Creevey and Dennis Creevey.
