Go visit Chloe

I stood there for a few moments, running my fingers through my still wet hair as I regarded the house next door, weighing my options in my mind as I wondered what to do. I'd definitely like to get better acquainted with Chloe but after being caught peeping on her as she changed, how would she react? She was a married woman, a mother... I shouldn't even be thinking about her, I told myself even as I replayed the scene from my bathroom, remembering how she'd looked as she stripped out her clothes, the look of shock and anger on her face when she noticed me at the window. _B__ut she didn't tell her husband, or if she did, he didn't care? _I mused to myself, a confused frown crossing my face as I stood there looking at the Graysons' house, trying to make up my mind.

"The hell with it," I muttered to myself, heading back into my house, I rooted through a few boxes in the kitchen, before coming up with a bottle of champagne that I'd had for months. I'd bought it for a woman I had been seeing, hoping to impress her with my wine selection, but the relationship had fizzled out after a few weeks and she'd never even seen the inside of my apartment. "Perfect hostess gift," I muttered to myself, brushing some dust off the label before tucking it under my arm and heading across the yard to see how Chloe will react.

I knocked on the door, waiting for Chloe to answer it, my mind racing with a troubling mix of excitement and dread as I replayed the image of her angrily pulling her curtains closed. Finally, after a few long moments, the door opened and Chloe was standing there in a loose pink t-shirt and black yoga pants. "Hi," I say with a warm smile, holding out the bottle of champagne, "may I come in?"
