Chapter 4

Where do u wanna go?

Go to the library with Hermione (story)

"I think I want to go to the library," Harry said.

"That's a great idea!" Hermione exclaimed. "We might even have time to try out some new spells while we're there."

"Since when did you become such a library lover?" Ron asked suspiciously.

"I just realized how useful it can be," Harry replied defensively. "And if we go now, we might even have time to learn some new spells before dinner."

"Fine, if you're that eager to visit the library," Ron conceded. "Just let me know when you're ready to go do something that might actually help us win the tournament."

As Ron departed, Harry turned to Hermione and noticed her bright smile. She leaned in, her voice low and mischievous as she whispered, "I'll wager you didn't expect to receive all these privileges, did you?"

Harry laughed. "Of course not! I thought I'd be in for a scolding for breaking curfew or something."

Hermione giggled. "Well now we can spend the whole day in the library without having to worry about getting caught by the professors."

Harry couldn't help but smile as he looked at Hermione. She looked absolutely breathtaking today, with her long black skirt and white blouse beneath her school robes. Her curly brown hair flowed over her shoulders, beautifully framing her face. Harry couldn't keep his eyes off her.

"Come on," Hermione said, linking her arm through Harry's.

"As long as I'm with you, it seems I can't get into trouble," she said with a playful smile.

Together, they walked towards the grand staircase leading up to the seventh floor.

"Are you ready to learn some dark magic?" Hermione teased playfully.

"Sure, whatever you say," Harry chuckled, enjoying her lighthearted mood.

When they reached the top of the stairs, Harry followed Hermione down the corridor until they arrived at the door to Madam Pince's office. They knocked loudly, waited several seconds, then knocked again three times before the door slowly swung open. A small woman appeared behind it, peering at them with suspicion.

"What do you want?" she said sharply.

"Hello, Madam Pince," Harry said politely. "We're here to pick up the key to the restricted section of the library."

Madame Pince turned and led them inside. The room was small and cramped, barely big enough to fit the desk, chair, and filing cabinet within it. Madame Pince looked at them sternly and said, "You had better return the key immediately after you've finished using the restricted section."

"We will, thank you," Harry assured her.

"Very well," she grumbled, handing him a large silver key on a chain.

"Thank you," Harry said again as he took the key. He looped it around his neck and tightened it against his chest.

The wizards hurried away.

In just ten minutes, they reached the forbidden section of the library.

There was no sign on the door indicating that this part of the library was restricted, except the fact that there was a small piece of paper stuck onto it stating that it was reserved for advanced students. Hermione moved closer beside him and said in awe, "Harry — look at all of these books!"

The collection of books was on every imaginable topic related to magic and wizardry. Harry was awestruck. This place was far larger than he remembered.

Harry nodded in agreement, marveling at the hundreds of books spread out before him. Some of the titles read, "How To Brew Potions Using Illegal Ingredients," "Killing Without Leaving a Trace," and "Curses Against Your Enemies." Others were written in foreign languages, including ancient Greek, Latin, and German.

"This is incredible," Harry breathed.

"Truly," Hermione Agreed. "And we need not be concerned with being discovered while practicing magic here either. We are free to use these books as we please now."

Harry's attention was caught by Hermione's words. He thought of the book of Slytherin, with all its spells and recipes. Quickly, he considered his options. It was unlikely that anyone would interrupt them at this time, and if someone did happen to stumble upon them, Harry was confident he could handle the situation.

Harry cast a wary glance at Hermione, who was deeply engrossed in one of the books. It was the perfect opportunity to attempt something.

The only question was what to try?

What do you want to do?
