Go on a date with Josh.

When I arrived at the agreed place Josh was already waiting for me.

• "Hey cupcake. I got something for you." He handed me a red rose. Always so romantic.
• "Thank you, honey." I gave him a long kiss on the lips. "So what's the plan for today?"
• "Don't be so hasty, I got a few things on the plan. First, we are going to the restaurant. I have a great table reserved for us."

After walking for about 20 minutes we reached a fancy restaurant, it looked very expensive. After entering we waited for a waiter and soon one showed up.

• "Yes, how can I help you? He asked."
• "Hello, we have a reservation for two, under Herrick."
• "Of course, right this way." He led us to the table in the corner of a restaurant, close to the kitchen.
• "Excuse me, I reserved a table with a lake view."
• "I am sorry sir, we had to readjust your reservation."
• "That doesn't seem right." Objected Josh.
• "There is nothing we can do I am afraid."

We ordered a main dish and some desserts. But the place we've got was disappointing, I wished we could watch the lake, that would be magical and romantic. I guess there are things Josh just can't obtain. Sometimes I wished he was more assertive.

Next on our plan, we headed to the cinema. Josh picked a romantic comedy, my favorite genre. I love chick flicks as he calls them. The setting and plot are always so predictable and comforting. It was a premiere and we had pretty good spots, thanks to Josh, he always takes care of the details. However, after half an hour the couple in front of us started to be really annoying, eating loudly, talking, and laughing without a reason. At some point, Josh poked the guy in front of him and asked if he could be more quiet, but his response was very aggressive.

• "What's your problem dude?"
• "Sorry, could you be quieter?"
• "I paid for the ticket, and I can watch the movie however I like." He responded rudely.
• "Please man, we just want to watch it in peace."
• "Fuck off man, or I will fuck you up."
• "Jeez, alright, alright." Josh responded.

I must say that his problem-solving skills were rather disappointing. The whole experience of watching this movie was ruined because of them. Rather than focusing on the plot, I thought about our future together. were his qualities sufficient to be together? He was kind, intelligent, loving, and caring, but on the other hand not very confident, protective, or... Well, good in bed, although he was trying.

Finally, after the movie finished we decided to go for a long walk, he would walk me through our favorite park back to his place. And who knows, maybe we would fool around a bit. But my mood was a bit off. As we walked through the park we were passing a group of punk guys and one of them decided to comment on my outfit.

• "Hey there girl, looking good, wanna hang out with us?" His comment made me a bit worried but Josh didn't respond to them.
• "Come on cutie, we could show you some good time. Especially if you like it rough." Another comment hit me.
• "Get lost. Responded Josh.
• "{Boyfriend", I wanna go home." I said to him quietly.
• "Oh man, don't get so angry, we could let you watch." Their comments started to get more obvious, and my anxiety grew.
• "I said get lost."

One of them got up from the bench and approached me from behind. When I wasn't looking he gave me a slap on my booty to which I didn't consent.

• "Damn she has some nice ass!"

Again Josh did nothing, we simply sped up our walking. They were still shouting some perverted comments but we managed to reach a safe distance. Soon enough we stood in front of his house. I wasn't sure how I wanted it to go further. Today's event got me thinking about our relationship. We went in and immediately started kissing. My conflicting thoughts were troublesome and I had to make a decision.
