I am not fond of simply walking alongside the path. It feels a bit too much like cheating to me. On the other hand, I am already 26. I don’t like to admit it, but I am getting old. Not as old as Kenric, fortunately. But if I don’t get married soon, I will eventually become just like him. 40 years old and unmarried. I would really like to avoid that. Perhaps it would be better for me to find the path again and stick close to it.

Now, that is not to say I didn’t have a lot of good Samhain’s. Especially my first Samhain’s, when there were few village girls who participated, had me catch a lot of traveler girls. As a matter of fact, the group of travelers currently visiting has a girl that I caught 5 years ago. But in the years between then and now, she had gotten married, so there is no chance at me rekindling that romance.

No, if I am going to get a wife, it’s going to have to be one of the village girls. I don’t really have a specific girl in mind, though. I get along with all of them. Just not enough for a relationship, it seems. I really don’t feel like forcing a girl into a pregnancy. That would be too cruel. I would like to convince her into accepting my Samhain child. Or if that doesn’t work, maybe ask her if our Samhain coupling could be the start of a relationship. But if the girls keep telling me no, it might be that forcing a Samhain child onto one of them might be the only way for me to get married.

Eventually, I arrive at the river before I find the path again. I get tired of searching and decide to simply wade through the river instead. Unfortunately, I end up at a deep part, where I have to swim to get to the other side. By the time I get out, I feel cold. So very cold. And I’m pretty sure my dick and balls have shrunk because of it. Damn it. I should have tried to find the bridge and cross over there.
