Give the money to the captain

You decide to buy the weapons and give the remainder of the money to the captain. After all: you have it. Why complicate matters further?

"A wise decision," the man says.

The next days you spend onboard the ship. Your freedom at risk in each second. You have your weapon at the ready as a constant. You only leave your cabin when you have absolutely have to. At all times you are looking over your shoulder, ready for the moment they would come for you.

That moment never arrives however: even a pirate thinks twice about a target that has the ability to retaliate.

"You are smarter than you look." Once you arrive to the station, the captain gives you that. Then you simply part ways, your mind forever to wonder what would have happened if any you opts for a different outcome.
