"Right, I get cha," Ethan shrugs, "But there's nothing between us, so we don't need to worry about that."

Charlie nods a few times rapidly. "Absolutely..." she clears her throat, "So, yeah, I was just making sure-"

"Yeah, yeah," Ethan smiles, cutting her off. "It's cool."

Charlie slumps back in her seat smiling awkwardly, "Hey, do you wanna hang out more with Ashley and Sam?"

"Huh?" Ethan feels something in the mood shift.

"I mean, we might as well, right? You need to make more friends after all..."

Sighing, Ethan thinks she might be right. Glancing over at the other two, Ethan considers his options.
