Gil: a man in his 40s going through a divorce

Forty-five-year-old Gil Yearwood stopped in the hallway of his, or more accurately, his soon-to-be ex-wife's house. He looked at a photo of his ex-wife Maggie and his 20-year-old step-daughter Kennedy. She shook his head.

Kennedy was one of the main causes of the divorce as Maggie doted on the girl, let her get away with anything and spent lavishly on her.

Gil had a box of his things in his arms. He gathered it from what used to be his den. He went to his truck and put the last of the boxes in the bed. He heard a beep from his phone and pulled it out of his pocket. There was a new app on his phone: MPC. "What the...?" he asked himself.
