Getting to work, then play.

Kazuma proceeded to finish off a few insensate alligators, before five new ones moved through the water at him and Fio. "Uh, Kazuma, maybe getting into the water was a bad idea?" Fio asked as the alligators zeroed in on them.

"Trust me, I got this," Kazuma grit his teeth. Then the alligators lunged at them, their heads coming out of the water. "Freeze!" he shouted, targeting the water ahead of him and Fio, and sure enough, it froze over, trapping the alligators.

Their eyes widened comically as they realized they were helpless, and Kazuma grinned sadistically. As did Fio as the poor beasts started sweating profusely. "Admit it, I am a genius," Kazuma gloated.

"Fine, you're a genius," Fio rolled her eyes. "Now quit gloating and start hacking," she added, shooting one then pulling her dagger.

"Fine, fine," he grinned, and they worked systematically, and whenever more alligators came, Kazuma froze them, and he, Fio, Cremea and Darkness kept on killing them. Aqua followed them as they walked down the shore, finding more alligators, and carrying Megumin on her back.

"Sheesh, did the whole population of these things decide to move in?" Cremea asked as Kazuma and Fio were panting. "We must have killed nearly a hundred by now!"

"No kidding... Might have to camp here tonight, and finish up tomorrow," Kazuma grunted. "Doesn't help that it's a big lake... Why don't you and Fio move about and try to figure out how many are left before we decide on a course of action?" Kazuma suggested.

"Sounds like a plan, we'll scout for an hour or two without engaging any of them, so we can catch our breath while we're at it, and come back with a determination on whether we can finish by tonight," Fio agreed. They headed off, and Kazuma smirked, looking at Aqua, who blinked.

"Something up Master?" she asked curiously.

"Actually yes, I want to try out an idea I had. There's a reason I picked a quest with a body of water after all... Get naked."

Aqua nodded and started stripping as Kazuma started writing.
