Getting to know them better.

My plan to make breakfast for all of them was pretty much a flop since I was told Gizmo woke up when she damn well wanted. Any attempts to wake her up before that would be met with unintelligible grumbling and possibly a thrown pillow. She had a tendency to stay up and work late into the night, hence her desire to sleep in. I figured that was okay if she was staying up late working. I had a feeling Gizmo felt uncomfortable without her tech. That was why she was up all night. She had to rebuild. ...I wondered how many things I was now missing. Gizmo could build incredible things, but she needed parts to do it. Maybe she brought some with her.

I was beginning to think that Mammoth may have been borderline retarded. Not trying to insult her in any way, but she seemed very, very dim. If I had to hazzard a guess on her education level, I'd say she never quite got out of grade school. She could do basic math, could read (as proven by her ability to not put salt on her Cheerios...just a ton of sugar), and was capable of basic reasoning...

Clearly, however, she was under the belief that her teddy bear was alive. Not "crazy" alive. She didn't hear any voices. She never claimed that "Teddy" was speaking either. She would just say that "Teddy and her" were going to do this, or "Teddy and her" wanted to do that. She insisted on giving Teddy a spot on the table. Not its own chair, just on the table with a small plate in front of it. Naturally "Teddy" wasn't that hungry, so Mams ate the food for her.

Wykkyd was painfully shy, constantly blushing when I spoke to her. She spent a great deal of time getting ready for the day. Her shower was short enough, but she spent a long time doing her hair and make-up. Appearance must mean a lot to her, unlike the other two who didn't seem to even touch the stuff. Gizmo probably thought it was stupid and Mams wouldn't know where to begin.

Naturally all the girls wanted to spend time with me. Gizmo wanted to play video games with me. Mams was itching to see how much I could bench. I don't know why though...it would obviously not be even close to her own amazing strength. I wasn't sure what Wykkyd wanted to do since she was mute. I was thinking of getting her a notebook or something. Maybe a chalkboard.
