Getting to know each other.

"So Momo, you seem a little familiar... I think I saw you in a news app notification fairly recently," Ochaco mused, trying to place it.

"Ah yeah, I was in a missing person's report," Momo said sheepishly, rubbing the back of her head. "I kind of just went out to the beach the night before, forgot to tell my folks exactly where I was going, and I relaxed too much... I fell asleep on the beach, and my folks panicked when I didn't return home until early the next morning..."

"Oh yeah, that's right!" Ochaco replied. "Wait, you're related to some pretty well off people, right?" she asked, surprised.

"That's one way to put it," Momo nodded with a shrug, sensing genuine curiosity, not greed from Ochaco. "What about you? What do your parents do?"

"Oh, they work in construction," Ochaco replied, though not mentioning that they were on hard times, hence why she wanted to be a Hero. "What about you, Midoriya?"

"My dad... Well, he's not really in the picture much," Izuku replied. "He works abroad, and sends us money, Mom is a stay at home person who occasionally does some odd jobs."

They continued to chat, the atmosphere amicable and growing very relaxed. It was abundantly clear that they were hitting it off. Eventually, the topic turned to who their favorite Heroes were. "I'm a huge fan of 13!" Ochaco said enthusiastically. "Her work in rescue is inspiring, and we both have gravity based Quirks!"

"I personally never thought about it all that much," Momo replied. "All Heroes have their objective and subjective merits. Though I will say All Might definitely deserves his spot at the top."

"That's for sure, he's my favorite for many reasons, and no, I'm not just jumping on the bandwagon. I thought he was the greatest ever since I saw that debut video of his as a young kid," Izuku stated. "Even if he wasn't in the rankings, I'd consider him the coolest. Though if he wasn't, I'd have some serious questions about the system."

"That's fair!" Ochaco giggled.
