What's next?
Getting ready for my date with Catherine
I was given a chance to shower and change, and when I finally came down from upstairs we were edging on an unreasonable dinnertime.
“God, I’m one lucky son of a gun,” I said when I saw Cattie waiting for me with a smile.
Last night had been a walk down the Strip, a fancy dinner and then impromptu mini putt, so we hadn’t been dressed up but we’d looked nice even if the girls had leaned into Cattie’s more Hot Goth vibes. Today we were doing even more fun and casual, so Cattie had dressed to match mine and Cassidy’s suggestions - and yet she was still wowing the pants off of me. Her black hair was pulled back into a sporty ponytail, and she was wearing a black sweater that was more like a pair of sweater arms connected to a hood. It exposed her entire front and back chest and torso, but she was wearing a tight athletic bra underneath with a thick elastic band under her bust, and she had on another more standard bra under that so her nipples weren’t making obvious bumps in the fabric. Down below her bare, amazingly smooth torso, she was wearing a pair of red, high-waisted jeans that clung to her deliciously, and she’d done her lipstick in the same bright red.
And she was wearing a pair of brand new black and white Converse - brand new except for the clean and carefully written ‘Cattie <3’s Robbie’ on the outside right side of her right foot.
I groaned as she posed, showing me that, and she laughed warmly as I picked her up and hugged her. “I figured I should catch up a little,” she said, kissing my cheek and whispering in my ear. “And make sure people know I’ve got a man that I’m dressing up for.”
“Fuck, you look good enough to eat, Catherine,” I said, setting her down and kissing her gently. When I pulled back I smirked a little. “Am I covered in lipstick now?”
“No, we planned for lots of kissing and picked the appropriate product,” Cattie snorted. “Not like last night where the plan was to get it all over you.”
“OK,” I said, taking her hand and then laughing again. “God, why am I nervous all of a sudden?”
“Because you’re cute,” she said with a grin. “And I’m nervous too, so let’s just say this date happened before last night when we’re telling the story a decade from now.”
“Deal, but it’s gonna be one awkward story with all the details,” I said and kissed her again.
Every time her chest pressed against mine I wanted to grab her, throw her over my shoulder and carry her up to the bedroom - dinner and fun be damned. Instead, I contented myself by sliding my hands back to grab her fantastic butt, making her grin and kiss the edge of my jaw, teasing me with her teeth for a moment as she growled playfully.
“Where’s Cass?” I asked. “We should get going.”
“I’m on my way out,” my fiancee said as she came back out from the kitchen. She was dressed much more casually in a T-shirt and shorts, wearing her old Converse as well and with her hair hanging loose. Her makeup was lighter than Cattie’s and leaning more natural as well, and she had a new bottle of wine in one hand and her keys and purse in the other. “Don’t mind me.”
“I mind you constantly, baby,” I said, half-stepping from Cattie and looping my arm around her to pull her in so I could kiss her forehead as we both hugged her. “Have a good time catching up with Dayana.”
“Oh, I’m sure I will,” Cass said as she hugged us back, then titled her lips up to me for a little kiss as Cattie watched from up close, grinning at us. When our lips parted, Cass was grinning with that look in her eye. “I’m sure your work wife will be thrilled to find out all the stuff we got up to on our week away.”
I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath, both of them still in my arms and snickering a little. Then I opened my eyes and looked down at my cunning fiancee. “You can tell her what you want to,” I said. “I haven’t mentioned anything yet, because I wanted to give us time to settle in a little, but if you want to tell her you can.”
“Wait,” Cass said, her grin dropping a little in shock. “Really?”
“Robbie, you don’t need to do that,” Cattie said. “Work is work, home is home. Me being your girlfriend shouldn’t-”
“Catherine,” I interrupted her, scratching my fingernails softly across her lower back as I leaned in to kiss her for a moment. “I’m not ashamed of you, or this, in the slightest. And I’m definitely not looking to hide you. We don’t need to share all our private details,” I gave Cass a look at that. “But we’re in a polyamorous relationship now. I love you, and not telling my friends would be different. The only reason I haven’t yet is so we have some time to ourselves first, because Dayana and everyone else in our lives is going to want to meet you, and Becca, as soon as possible and we have limited time this week for us.”
“Robbie,” Cattie said softly, tears starting to brim in her eyes a little bit as she raised a hand and brushed her fingers across my cheek.
“Way to make her risk messing up her make-up already, Tiger,” Cassidy teased.
“Sorry, gorgeous,” I said, rubbing Cattie’s back.
“Shut up and kiss me,” she muttered, pulling me into a liplock that told me exactly how much she appreciated my words.
When she pulled away and laughed, she stepped out of my arms and back. “OK, let me go make sure I’m put back together before we go. Cass, I’m OK with telling this Dayana girl about me too - we can even go meet her tomorrow or something.”
“Oooh, I bet she feeds us something delicious from one of the spots in the hotel,” Cassidy said. “Oh! And you can get to see where Robbie works.”
“Not that I can promise I can see you,” I cautioned. “Or that Dayana can at a specific time either.”
“OK, let me go get touched up,” Cattie said, heading for the bathroom and grabbing her purse from the front door on the way.
“Are you sure?” Cass quickly turned, hugging me tightly around my waist as she looked up into my eyes. “I was just joking, I figured you would want to keep all this on the down-low for a while. Especially with Dayana.”
“No, it’s- what do you mean, especially with Dayana?” I started to answer but pivoted.
She gave me a look, and I gave her one back, and she sighed. “You and Dayana had a really good friendship, and the fact that you made sure I was present in that means the world, Robbie. And I trust her and you that neither of you has ever done anything, OK? But I’ve seen the way she looks at you every once in a while when you’re not looking and she forgets I’m there.”
“Wait,” I said, rubbing Cassidy’s shoulders. “Please, just- I don’t know if I want to hear this, Cass.”
“She’s not in love with you,” Cassidy said bluntly, then let out a little breath. “She’s not even, like, crushing on you, I think. You’re fine. But I think the reason those two things aren’t true is because you’re taken, not because you aren’t her type. If that makes sense?”
“Cass,” I sighed.
“Shhh,” she shushed me. “Don’t worry. I’m not going to just start propositioning if she wants to hop on your dick or something like that. I’ll just let her know that your girlfriend, my best friend, is visiting us and let her ask questions. And if she thinks to ask if you have other girlfriends I’ll tell her about Becca, but I’ll keep everyone else quiet because they aren’t official yet. And I’ll tell her this whole thing is my idea, and own my shit. OK?”
“Cass,” I sighed again, conflicted deep in my gut and heart.
“I love you, Tiger,” she said, giving me a mild puppy dog look with big eyes and a slightly pouting lower lip.
“I love you too, baby,” I sighed, hugging her tighter again as she pressed her cheek to my chest. “Just… take it easy, OK?”
“I will,” she promised. “I know your friendship with her is important. I’m not going to fuck it up. Or use the App.”
“Thank you,” I murmured, pressing my lips to the hair on top of her head and getting a noseful of her shampoo scent.
“OK, I’m ready,” Cattie said, coming back down the hallway and pressing herself to the two of us, wrapping her arms around us in a hug. “God, guys, it’s so fucking- Ugh, it’s amazing to feel so fucking positive about all of this. Seriously, I’m realising I was walking on eggshells around She Who Can Suck A Truckload Of Diseased Cocks for so long, and you two just make me feel free.”
“We love you, babe,” Cassidy said, wiggling slightly to get her arm around Cattie as well to return the group hug. “Now go have fun with our man, and then come back here and fuck him until his brains run out his ears.”
“Wait, I thought that was my job today,” I snorted.
“OK, I expect both of you to be brainless fucked out zombies by the time I get back,” Cassidy smirked as she broke up the hug. “That work for you two?”
“I think we can make that happen,” Cattie grinned at me. “Now get me out of here, Tiger, so that we can eventually get back here and I can get this buttplug out of my ass and your cock into me.”
Cassidy’s laugh at the look on my face echoed across the street as she opened the front door to lead us out.
