Getting Ready for the Party

I get out of bed and strip out of my sleep attire, which consists of some loose basketball shorts and a quick dry t-shirt. I grab my towel off the hanger on my bedroom wall and wrap it around my waist before heading to the bathroom. I put on some music; a shuffled playlist of songs from different musicals. I hop in the shower and begin cleaning myself with some 3-in-1 soap.

I get out of the shower and take a look at myself in the bathroom mirror after wiping off the condensation. Looking back at me is a college aged man with short red hair, which is still damp from the shower. My green eyes look back at me. My skin is fairly pale, I'm a redhead after all. My face is clean shaven.

I step back and look below my neck, I see my 5'9 lithe body. I was gifted with a pretty good metabolism, making it quite hard for me to gain weight. I notice the slight definition of my biceps and pectorals, causing me to flex and show off to myself in the mirror. I'm not big by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm fit even if I slack off on working out way more times than I should.

I return to my room and put on my clothes for the party. A pair of black jeans, and a button-up top. I leave the top few buttons undone as I'm pretty sure it ups your sex appeal a bit. Even if I haven't had much luck in that area in the past.

I brush my teeth, grab something to eat, then say goodbye to my parents, letting them know I may not be back until tomorrow. I get into my vehicle: it's a black car which is over ten years old. I got it for a very good price, though that was probably because it has quite a few issues with it. It gets me from point A to point B, and that's all that matters. I drive to the party.

Traffic is much worse than I expected, and checking the time I realize that I'm going to be a little late. All my friends will likely already be there by time I arrive.
