Getting In

As you step into the subway station, the bustling sounds of commuters blend with the rhythmic echo of your heels against the tiled floor. The moment you enter the fray, you can feel Luna come to life, that warm confidence radiating through you like a soft glow. You glance over at Liam, who’s adjusting his tie, looking sharp in the one suit he somehow managed to pull together.

“Lucky for me,” Liam says, his voice brimming with playful confidence, “this suit is basically my one and only. But hey, it’s good enough for tonight, right?” He strikes a quick pose, mock-seriousness on his face, then grins, clearly feeling the vibe of the night.

You can’t help but roll your eyes in a teasing way, your hand brushing against his arm as you lean in a bit closer. “Well, it does look good on you. I mean, really good,” you say, letting the words roll off your tongue with an unexpected charm. You’d never say that as the old you, but as Luna, it just feels right.

Liam smirks, “Wow, look at you getting flirty. Is that a side effect of Hermes’ magic, or have you always been this smooth?”

You bat your lashes playfully, leaning in a little more. “Maybe a bit of both? I just can’t help it when you look this good,” you say, pausing for effect. “Makes me want to take you out, Liam.”

He lets out a laugh, a genuine one, as he nudges you playfully. “Alright, alright, save it for the dance floor, you seductress. I don’t need to be distracted before we even get there!”

You both head down the escalator, the lights flickering above as the hum of the subway grows louder. The moment you step onto the platform, Luna fully embraces the environment, the energy of the night flooding through you. You can’t help but smile at the people rushing by, the mix of excitement and anxiety palpable in the air.

“Just wait till you see the club,” Liam says as you lean against a pillar, watching the train approach. “It’s, like, one of the fanciest spots in the city. I might not fit in, but at least I’ll look the part.” There’s a hint of charisma in his tone that makes you grin.

You let your body sway slightly as you respond, “You’ll fit in just fine. I mean, look at us—who wouldn’t want to talk to the guy in the suit and the gorgeous girl next to him?”

Liam raises an eyebrow, feigning disbelief. “A gorgeous girl, huh? You’re really feeling yourself tonight, aren’t you?”

With a playful flick of your hair over your shoulder, you say, “Well, when you’ve got it, flaunt it, right? Besides, tonight’s all about making an impression.”

He nods, clearly amused. “You’ve definitely got that down.”

The train pulls into the station with a rush of wind and noise, and you step inside, finding a spot near the door. As the subway lurches forward, you lean against the pole, watching the station blur by outside the windows. You notice how your reflection glimmers in the glass, and for a brief moment, you’re captivated by the way Luna carries herself.

Your posture is open and inviting, the slight curve of your hip as you hold onto the pole giving you an air of confidence that feels new. It’s bizarre, almost like you’re viewing yourself through someone else’s eyes, yet your mind remains the same. You can’t help but smirk at how different you feel.

“So, what’s the plan when we get there?” Liam asks, breaking you out of your reverie.

You shrug, a mischievous grin spreading across your face. “I say we own the dance floor first. Show Marcus and Victoria we mean business, right? Then we can make our move.”

Liam nods in agreement, but there’s a hint of caution in his expression. “Just remember, it’s not just about looking good. We need to play it smart.”

“Smart and sexy,” you add, a little too cheekily. “A perfect combination.”

He chuckles, shaking his head. “Just don’t get too carried away with the sexy part. Remember, we have a goal.”

You lean closer, your voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper, “But isn’t the fun part about making him forget Victoria? A little bit of charm can go a long way.”

He looks at you, his expression a mix of admiration and concern. “Just be careful, okay? I know you’ve got this whole new vibe, but remember what you’re really here for.”

You nod, feeling a sense of determination bubble up inside you. “Don’t worry about me. I’ll keep my focus.”

As the subway pulls to a halt, the energy in your chest builds, a mix of excitement and nerves. You glance at Liam, who’s looking a bit more confident himself. “Ready?”

“Always,” he replies, and you both step out into the neon-lit world awaiting you.

You step out at the subway station, and as you walk toward the exit, you can feel Luna taking full control. This is your night, your chance to be someone else, and you’re ready to make it unforgettable.

As you and Liam step out of the subway station, the cool night air brushes against your skin, and you feel the thrill of the evening creeping through you. Ahead of you, the bright lights of the club cut through the darkness. Pandora, the name flashes in bold neon, perched atop a sleek, modern building with velvet ropes and sharply dressed bouncers stationed out front. The place is known for being exclusive, a spot where only the city’s elite get to rub shoulders—and tonight, you’re going to be part of it.

Your heels click confidently on the pavement as you walk alongside Liam, who’s keeping his usual cool, but there’s an undeniable edge to his demeanor tonight. You can feel the difference in yourself too, though. As Luna, your entire presence exudes something new. You’re walking with more sway in your hips, your posture taller and more poised. Everything about you feels more deliberate, more sensual. You glance over at Liam and catch him stealing a quick glance at your cleavage, which, thanks to the push-up bra, is certainly hard to miss.

There’s a small, wicked part of you that finds it amusing. A few days ago, this would have embarrassed you beyond belief, but now? It’s just another tool at your disposal. You’re different from who you were during the first trial. Back then, it was all about blending in, about trying not to be noticed. Now, you’re here to stand out.

As you approach the entrance, you notice how tight security is. Pandora isn’t just any club—this is the kind of place that demands you prove you belong at every turn. The first checkpoint is a pair of burly bouncers simply maintaining order. You look over at them with a playful smile, and when they make eye contact, you toss a flirty "Hey" over your shoulder.

Liam raises an eyebrow at you as you walk away from the checkpoint. “You really are playing this up, aren’t you?”

You shrug, a grin tugging at your lips. “What can I say? When you’ve got it, flaunt it.”

The second checkpoint is at the club’s outer entrance. Another set of security guards stand there, scanning the crowd for any more trouble. You and Liam are ushered to a side entrance, where the process becomes more serious.

The next bouncer, an imposing woman with a clipboard, scans the guest list. “Name?” she asks, her eyes narrowing as she studies you both.

Liam hesitates for a moment, clearly unsure what name to give. The tension rises as he stumbles over his words. “Uh, Liam... Liam Fielder,” he finally says.

You stand next to him, feeling the pressure build. Did Aphrodite even bother to put you on the guest list? What if this entire plan collapses before you even make it inside?

The bouncer scrolls through the list, her brow furrowing. There’s a long pause as she checks again. Then, she nods. “Liam Fielder… and your +1.” She glances up at you. “Partner?”

You don’t hesitate for a second. With an exaggerated gesture, you link your arm through Liam’s, pressing yourself against his side, your face lighting up with an over-the-top grin. “That’s me,” you say, leaning your head on Liam’s shoulder in a deliberately flirty way. “We’re quite the pair, aren’t we, babe?”

Liam stiffens at first, taken aback by your sudden shift, but he quickly recovers and plays along. “Yeah… that’s right,” he says, though his voice betrays a hint of awkwardness.

The bouncer eyes you both for a moment, sizing up the act, but you can tell she’s buying it. There’s no mistaking the chemistry you’re selling, even if it’s completely manufactured. She waves you both through to the final checkpoint, and as you pass, she murmurs, “Enjoy your night, lovebirds.”

You give her a sultry smile, turning on your charm full throttle. “Oh, we will.”

At the final door, you’re stopped one last time by a man who’s checking attire and demeanor. You feel his eyes sweep over your body, lingering a little too long on your legs and chest. Instead of feeling embarrassed, you use it to your advantage.

You let your fingers trail down Liam’s arm, subtly biting your lip as you glance at the doorman. “Is there something wrong?” you ask, tilting your head just enough to expose your neck, making your voice as smooth and sweet as possible. “We’ve been looking forward to tonight.”

He gives a slow, appreciative nod. “Nothing wrong at all. Go on in.”

As the doors to Pandora finally open, you feel a wave of victory wash over you. The music spills out from the club, loud and pulsing, and the energy inside is palpable. You step in, Luna in full control, feeling the eyes on you as you and Liam make your way through the crowd.

It’s time to put your plan into action.
