Get rid of the Coronanite.

"Wait... He mentioned the power source... Maybe if we can get it out of the machine, it will shut down and won't blow up!" Kazuma realized. He then turned to the amassed adventurers. "You guys all get off, Aqua, Wiz, Kyouya and I will take care of the rest. Get as far away from here as you can in case something goes wrong!"

As everyone hurried off, they searched for the Coronanite, before finding the reactor that held it, a glowing round stone that was glowing brighter and brighter. "That must be it..." Wiz noted.

"But how can we get it out?" Aqua asked.

"Stand back, I'm going to cut it out," Kyouya asserted, readying Gram.

"No need, I can just do this! Steal!" Kazuma declared.

"Kazuma, wait!" Wiz shouted, but Kazuma had already snagged the stone... And his arm promptly burst into flame from the heat of the thing.

"...YEEEEEEOOOOWCH!" he yelled once again, dropping it as Wiz hurriedly used ice spells to cool his arm off, and Aqua healed it again.

"...you know Kazuma, for someone so smart, you can be such an idiot," Kyouya deadpanned as Kazuma shook his still smoking arm.

"Shut it..." Kazuma grunted as Wiz hurriedly tried to cool the stone off some more with Freeze spells... But it was no use, it was only getting hotter and hotter faster than Wiz could cool it, and if the rapidly brightening of the light around it was any indication, it was about to blow at any minute. In fact, without the Destroyer drawing the heat from it, they may have sped the process up.

"Shit, what do we do!?" Aqua panicked.

"I could cut it with my sword, but that might set it off!" Kyouya said.

"...and I don't have enough mana left to do anything... Unless... Kazuma, I'm going to need to borrow some!" Wiz shouted.

"Take it!" Kazuma extended an arm.

"Drain touch!" Wiz shouted, grabbing it, and draining him off all the mana he could spare.

"... isn't that...?" Kyouya asked.

"Yes, it's a Lich Skill," Kazuma replied, wheezing. "I trust you can keep that little detail under wraps?"

"Of course," Kyouya nodded, having some idea on what was going on with Wiz and Kazuma, not the whole picture, but he knew enough thanks to being one of Ria's boy toys to be sure that Wiz wasn't going to be a threat.

"Now I have enough to use Teleport!" Wiz replied. "...except... For the main Teleport spell, you need a location set up to either go to or send things to..."

"...and?" Kazuma asked, not liking where that was going.

"...the only places I could send it are populated too..." Wiz replied. "I COULD use Random Teleport, but then I have no control over where it goes! I wouldn't be able to decide that!"

Kazuma thought frantically, and his mind was quickly made up as the Coronanite started vibrating, which he took to be a VERY bad sign, and grabbed Wiz's wrist. "Do it! The world is a big place, the odds of it landing somewhere deserted should be much higher! I'll take full responsibility for what happens! I have luck to spare!"

Wiz hesitated, but nodded, and quickly cast the spell on the Coronanite, just as it started to flash, implying it had just been about to go off, but then was gone in the nick of time. "...oh thank goodness," Kazuma sighed in relief. Now he just had to hope that this didn't come back to bite them...
