Get coffee ready

You decide to go make coffee and bring her some, the way you usually woke her up on lady mornings. You never really cared for the taste of coffee much, and only drank it for the invigoration, but Liz loved the stuff.

You make your way to the kitchen and start up the machine, preparing your two cups. While the system heated up you see your phones sitting on the kitchen counter, where they were left last night. You pick up your phone and go to open it... 'print not recognized'. After a second and third try, you realize a phone passcode is connected to a fingerprint, obviously Liz's fingerprint doesn't open your phone and tried to remember what you set the backup PIN to. After a pair of tires you get your phone open and start scrolling through the aftermath of last night. Numerous blurry pictures, a series of messages in your group chats and snap groups yield no clues.

Before long the coffee is ready. You take a sip of yours and fireworks go off in your head, the fruitiness, the notes of toasted spices and hints of chocolate delight your palette in a way you've never noticed before. Something clicks in your head, this must be why Liz loves coffee so much. This now also clarifies another key point, you appear to have inherited the same senses and likes of your wife. This causes you to chuckle for a moment, as you realize the implications. You could show her everything first hand that you'd only ever been able to describe with words before assuming she now has the same preferences as you did when you were...well... you. A series of thoughts start to run through your head.
