Get It Over With

Our Spectator can only inhabit the body of the MC. These spectators can only possess the body of the person who lives in the space they passed away in.

If the Spectator is a novice or has never possessed someone before, the consciousness of those they possess will automatically be ejected out of their body upon possession into a ghostly form similar to the Spectator.

If the Spectator is quite versed in possession, they can suppress the consciousness of their host and make it so they can't be ejected into a ghost form. Thus, their consciousness will remain suppressed in their own body. The experienced Spectator can also eject the consciousness at will.

The ejected consciousness of the possessed, because its body is still alive, can possess anyone it can find.

The ejected consciousness will automatically suppress the consciousness of whom they possess. The "living" possessor has no ability to control whether they can or cannot suppress the consciousness of those they possess.
