Gather and head out

You place all the tools and supplies in a getaway bag and let Marcy carry it.

"So, is this it?" Marcy asks, checking out the items we had loooted from this store. A pair of hammers, a dozen box of nails, ten roll of duct tape , some construction materials and other assecories like batteries.

"No, not yet," I answer, "Carry the things that may be useful later on and put it in the back,"

Marcy looks confused but simply shrugs and follow your orders. Placing the items inside the back rooms.

"Now that we have taken everything," You and Marcy go outside. You brought out the special marker and wrote something on the wall where people can see it clearly.

Rules: Anybody is allowed to enter with the exception of those that are cruel and vile a love to steal from others and cheat. Do not steal from the back room.

There. You claim ownership this hardware store. Seeing you can't carry everything, you decide to stash the important items inside the back room for later. You aren't cruel enough to prevent the survivors from entering the store for protection, but this would ensure that if you come here there are still a lot of supplies left.

"Well, we got a lot of stuff there,"

"Yeah, we could finally reinforce our base,"

"Are we going back now?" Marcy asks as the two of you look at the surroundings for any zombies. This gave you the time to think on her question.

Should you? You wonder, then finally make a decision.

Nah, you manage to carry a damn crate back to base. This is nothing. Plus, there are still other stores that could have useful items and perhaps usable electronics.

"Let's walk around a bit and see what could we find," You answer her. It won't hurt to get some more, maybe a convenient store to have some spices and food.
