Chapter 4 by bbone bbone

Which route will they choose?

Garage

Obviously, the Front Door is a trap. Only a fool would try to barge in. The Hedge Maze won't immediately get them anywhere. The idols are hidden inside the house, so any extracurricular trips only expose the women to more danger with no reward. The Greenhouse doesn't immediately present itself as an option, and women are on a tight deadline. They don't to dilly-dally exploring dead ends with no cause.

The garage has several entrances: A standard side door, the large bay door for vehicles, and a thin overhead window left ajar. Each may pose a challenge and an opportunity. With a little observation and creativity, each can be disarmed and easily entered. However, there are sure to be penalties should the women fail to mind their surroundings.

The garage is a medium sized room, filled to the brim with clutter. Between the Manor's prized collection of antique vehicles, the mechanic's equipment needed to keep them in proper repair, and a few dozen boxes of assorted clutter, the area is absolutely claustrophobic. If they are clever, the contestants might be able to scrounge up a weapon or two to help them traverse the rest of the gauntlet. More likely, they'll find themselves struggling against the many traps and hazards contained within as they search for a way to breach the only path that leads deeper into the mansion: The locked door to the South Wing.

Traps and Hazards:

  • One way door: The door must be opened with either the correct code, or through the use of the physical key. If the women fail these requirements, the door will let one through, but will slam shut and remain unopenable for the remainder of the game. The women will be separated unless someone can find another way in, or the trapped player can find a way out.
  • Boobytrap bay: The large bay doors can be **** open. However, doing so will blast anyone standing in the wrong spot with a thorough coat of dust and grime. Once opened, the door sets a second trap. Anyone trying to **** the bay closed will find the sheet metal unmoved, and new set of handcuffs applied to keep their arms well above their head.
  • Window stripper: Trying to squeeze through the window will cost an intruder an arm and a leg... or well, more so the clothing on their arms and legs. Mechanized hooks and wires will relentlessly attack anyone trying to **** their way through the window, claiming all the clothing they can before the victim escapes in either direction.
  • Janitor bot: This cute little bot wouldn't hurt a fly. It will however, clean up any mess it finds. If any cloth is coated in grime, grease, oil, or dirt, janitor bot will find, remove, and incinerate it. While neither tremendously fast, the bot is nigh indestructible and absolutely relentless. The best course of action is to either stay clean, or keep it distracted with other messes.
  • Greasy tools/ Dusty boxes: The Garage is a filthy place. Obviously contestants will need to take care not to get dust and grime all over themselves as they dig through the area in their search for keys and clues to clear the central puzzle.

How do our officers fare?
