Fundraising Exposé

I nodded and made a "hmm" sound, doing my best to show my interest, watching as she shot me a toothy grin, "Ok .... well, good! Follow me please!" I paused, confused, my mind racing to decide if this was for real or just a gag. I looked around, seeing no one taking special interest in these events, though once more I caught people staring my way as walked toward the worker's lot. After several seconds, I decided it was real and I should follow her.

I did my best to be calm and collected, even as I found myself entering the crowd, passing ever closer to them. After several stops and starts, I finally was led into the right all. A large number of tables were placed throughout the room, and many already had people seated watching as I entered near the front of the room.

I swallowed hard, as swiftly hundreds of faces turned and stared as I entered. I heard cheering as they looked on. My companion, who let me here, casually took the podium, "Welcome to our latest firefighters fundraiser. Our volunteers appreciate everything done to raise funds not only for us but. also to aid those in need. Now, I want to introduce a new and special addition to our festivities. As you can see, she has come specially dressed for our little occasion. ... Please invite our new guest!"

As the crowd cheered yet higher, a spotlight, and then another aimed in my direction, perfectly highlighting my nakedness before everyone there. I let out a gasp as the crowd laughed and clapped, clearly excited by my addition to the festivities. I was left with a choice, and I had to make it fast; Go up on stage, and partake in whatever they may have planned, or rush from the room.
