Fun With Flora

Matthew finished writing just as Hilda and Marianne returned to their task, and then he watched the magic.

Hilda went over to a rose and sniffed it, and her outfit changed to that of a ballerina's, and she began to spin and dance around.

"Must dance..." she said mindlessly. "I am a pretty ballerina...Must dance..."

Matthew laughed at what he wrote.

When a woman smells a rose in the monastery greenhouse, they will become a mindless ballerina. Only when Matthew Fernwick has the woman sniff a white lily will they return to normal. Otherwise they will simply dance around as a ballerina and occasionally say things about being a pretty ballerina or pretty dancer.This will not be viewed as odd by anyone.

"Such a hot dancer..." said Hilda as she twirled. "Elegant dance..."

Marianne went back to her task, but that was before Matthew once again wrote. Marianne suddenly grabbed a dahlia, sniffed it, and then...

"BWWWAAAAK!" Marianne cried as her clothes vanished. She began to strut around naked as a chicken. Hilda noticeably shifted her dancing just a bit as to not hit Marianne with her twirls.

Matthew once more looked to his new additions.

Any woman who sniffs a dahlia in the monastery greenhouse will become the first animal they think of. Only when Matthew Fernwick has the woman sniff a a white lily will they return to normal. Otherwise they will simply remain their chosen animal. This will not be viewed as odd by anyone.

“Look at my dance. It’s just for you. I’m a perfect Ballerina. I’m a perfect Ballerina." Hilda repeats as she keeps leaping around the greenhouse.

Marianne, meanwhile, had found some seeds on the floor and was beginning to peck at them. "Buk...buk...buk."

Matthew and Catherine watched the girls for a while, and he contemplated what to do next.
