Chapter 39 by Yellowjack42 Yellowjack42

Can these girls cook?

Food Tornado

To put it simply the kitchen looked like an explosion had taken place, there were so many food items strewn about the area it looked as if a tornado had come in an picked up every last bit of edible material then flung it against the walls and ceiling. In the center of the massive culinary destruction were the three Prinnies, all of them sitting on the floor back to back and apparently dead asleep. Over top their signature Prinny hats were tall chef caps while their bikini clad bodies were covered by aprons, each of them stained with almost every color of the rainbow. Where these items came from, I had no idea but that was my least of the worries at the moment.

While I was shocked into complete silence Etna was obviously outraged, her right eye twitching in annoyance as she stomped into the kitchen with a vengeance. However, while her entrance was meant to entice fear it failed spectacularly the moment she stepped upon an errant pancake left upon the floor, her footing slipping and sending her to the ground in a crashing heap. I had to restrain my laugh as Etna jumped to her feet once more, her anger amplified by the thousands as she screamed, "YOU THREE IDIOTS! WAKE UP!"

As if lightening had struck the ground on which they sat, the three Prinnies jumped up into attention, their sleep from before completely forgotten as they stood up straight with a quick response, "Yes Master Etna, dood!" Etna growled and stomped the floor, her fist curled up tightly as she spoke, "What the hell happened in here!? It looks like you blew up the fucking pantry!" While I couldn't help but agree I had no chance to say anything as I was suddenly set upon by Abby, her arms hooking around one of my own with a grin, "Come on Master John, dood! We have a surprise for you and Master Etna!"

I took a quick glimpse at Etna, expecting to see rage quickly building in her eyes and her fist twitching in preparation of a solid smack across the skull for Abby. Yet, instead of this sight I saw that Etna was preoccupied with Bea, the Prinnie holding onto her arm much like Abby was to me. Before either of us could react to the situation Cammie raced to the only other door in the kitchen, the one opening that led directly from the kitchen to the dining room. With a deep bow Cammie held the door open for the four of us as Abby and Bea led us into the room, Abby with much more success and ease than Bea.

Once in the room I knew my stomach had growled and judging by the drool coming from Etna's lips I knew she must have felt the hunger rocket through her. Laid out on my dining room table was a variable feast of epic proportions, massive amounts of savory and sweet delights that could easily feed a small army let alone the small group of us. "W-what the hell is this?" Etna was the first to speak, her amazement letting Bea lead her with much greater ease than before.

"It's a feast Master Etna dood," Bea said with a bright grin, sliding a chair out for Etna to sit in. "How did you guys manage to do all of this? I didn't know I even had half of this stuff," I exclaimed in surprise, Abby seating me down and laying a napkin across my lap. "We know how to improvise Master John, Cammie was one of the best cooks in Master Etna's service, dood!" Abby said with pride, indicating the beaming smile that was Cammie at the moment.

"You three better clean up the kitchen or else," Etna mumbled, her hand darting around the table and quickly grabbing a mountainous hill of sweets and "spicy" eggs for her breakfast treat. "Of course Master Etna! We wouldn't dream of not doing it dood," Bea said with a grin, quickly scampering off to join Cammie and Abby back in the kitchen. However, just before the trio left the room they all gave me a stare, a certain look that made me think back to our conversation from yesterday...oh dear lord they actually remembered it.

In response to my confusion and sudden look of dawning realization they smiled and nodded, all of them giving me a large thumbs up before they zoomed off to clean the kitchen. With a sigh I began to build my own breakfast, chuckling every so often as Etna took a nibble of something sweet and the sound of her pure delight filled the air. However, despite the food and its obviously delicious taste, I kept wondering how I was going to bring up what I had said to the Prinnies the other day...

Oh boy...how to start?
