Follow them

You followed them to the next room where they both stood in front of the door of what seemed to be a booth.

"It always happens to us... Like what do we do if the dummy we ordered is suddenly unavailable. These bastards didn't even refund us..."

-"I'm gonna go there and make sure they do. We can not get into troubles just because they're incompetent at THEIR job. We've already to take care of out own here and I am certainly not getting fired because of them. Wait and see".
the second staff member replied angry before storming out of the room. It seemed like they were having a tough material issue. Well this type of things happen a lot for newly opened houses and stuffs.

You hesitated wether you wanted to participate or not but the booth really intruged you. You ultimately decided to walk to the other guy who was already scratching his hair in resignation.
"Hey what's up ? I've seen someone angry get out of here and it really surprised me." you asked calmly.

The other guy looked at you and immediatly shifted tone and posture.
-"Oh uhm, I'm sorry about that mister, we're having a bit of a problem here but don't worry, it's nothing that could trouble your visit. This attraction is not even open yet."

You look at the booth again and yes it didn't seem to be as polished as the remaining attractions.
-"What is it ?"
you ask him out of curiousity.

Of course he didn't hesitate to advertise it.
-"This ? This is what will be the main attraction of the arcade. It's a simulation booth. It's a high quality virtual reality but the booth is connected to the game. It's a reproduction of the game to let the customers enjoy their experience to the fullest"
Just after saying that his facade suddenly drop letting his worried expression out without knowing it. You catched the mood and decided to push him a bit further.

-"Something is wrong with the attraction ? So far it looks really fire."
You smile at him to lighten his mood.

-"Yes, you see we ordered a dummy because the room needs to be tested for customers. The dummy can't play the game so we simulate it with this controler. Once inside the dummy can try out every obstacles the game has give, and we can adjust some things to assure safety for our customers."
he pauses mid sentence then sigh as he put his cap back on his head.
"The dummy delivery seems to have encountered a problem so we can not try out the attraction. We also lost a lot of money on this and we now have to justify the loss. It's quite tough isn't it ?"

You nod at him in sympathy. At the same moment, Tania finaly comes by from the toilets, looking relieved to find you.

-"I told you to wait for me... I've been looking for you everywhere... Why didn't you just message me...?"
She asks looking mad at you before her eyes turn to the staff man.

"Oh ! I'm sorry... Uhm..?"

-"it's fine it's fine miss, it was nothing serious. I'm hoping you two are having fun"
The staff member friendly laughed at her with polite gestures. You let Tania make acquaintence with him and talk about how it was your first time here and that you two were a couple that came here for a date. Then you wrapped your arm around Tania's waist and pulled her to you.

-"How about my girlfriend and I try out the attraction instead ? I'm really excited to see how it works. Do you mind Tania ?"

-"Oh ? Yes ! I want to play too. I get to play anything without worrying about the time today hehe"
The clueless Tania giggles in your arm and hugs you while looking at the Staff member.

-"Are you sure...? The attraction still hasn't released. There are still so much safety measure that needs to be taken... I don't think it would be fine to play it now honnestly..."
The staff asks feeling unsure about the situation.

But then you laughed and confidently replied
-"Of course, what could possibly happen in virtual reality game ? Plus we're together, we're just gonna have fun and pay of course"
Tania even looked eager to try out the booth exclusively.
