Follow them.

After the king and Kailani are out of sight, you turn to your allies. "All right. That worked even better than I thought. We better follow them and make sure they don't get hurt. I have a feeling things are about to get really violent, and fast. We'll be there to back them up. And poor Kailani isn't exactly in her element."

"I don't know," Candy comments. "She was doing so good that I think I got a little horny just watching."

Snow shakes her head. "N-No I didn't."

"I never said--"

"Come on," you cut them off. "Follow me."

With a nod, you take off from behind the bookshelf and make your way to the exit. Finally you depart from the Chamber of Scrolls and once again find yourself in one of many halls in this mighty palace. There's no way to tell exactly where they went, though you do know where the queen's chambers are, and if things start getting rough, you'll likely hear the altercation. So for now, you make your way in that general direction, making certain to keep your eyes and ears open. Thankfully Snow is a trained ninja of sorts, so with her by your side, now also armed with a magic bow, you feel a lot more confident. Candy is quite powerful as well, though far more unpredictable.

As you proceed, you eventually make your way past both Zag and Vaddund.

"What happened?" asks the guard with more emotion than you've ever heard him exert. "The king. He swam by at such speed."

The butler crosses his arms and nods. "Yes... My work proved to be rather effective. Though it was certainly her skill which made our plan such a success. Surely a confrontation of dangerous proportions is about to occur, though this could mean that the Royal palace of Coral Caelum will be finally free of such corruption. We must go, allies. Quickly now."

"Yeah. Do you know where we might find them?" you ask.

"There's a good chance the queen is in the dining hall," Zag answers. "Dinner is approaching."

"Is that why King Agam was looking so hungry~?" Candy mocks. "Wait. I have another one. I bet after all this, the king will be looking to taste a new dish." She grabs her round red nose and gives it a squeeze, honking it twice.

"You dare mock our king?" Zag snaps back.

"Please. We just watched him get seduced by an evil witch and then get over it ten seconds after seeing a new bimbo. He practically had hearts in his eyes. The guy's a good leader, but he's just as much of a scatterbrain as the character Irirangi has been playing. He's just so mockable!"

"We can argue later. It's time to go," you say. With a hand on your scabbard, you paddle your feet and dart forwards down the hall. It's been a crash course, but you're really getting the hang of maneuvering down here. As you go, your small team of revolutionaries follow behind--Snow, Candy, Zag, and Vaddund. After dealing with so many Demon Kings, it's about time you deal with a regular monarch, though this encounter will certainly be less enjoyable than one with Queen Catherine II.

You don't quite make it to your destination before a sound causes you to halt.

It's like an explosion of lightning, but this is nothing like the quieter sound upon King Agam summoning his weapon. This is enough to hear from a distance. You hear the sound of falling rocks, as well as the chaos of amassing guards perhaps trying to figure things out as much as you are. At least now you have a far more obvious destination now. It's actually Snow who darts ahead using her keen feline hearing to lead the way, though with your Kitty Sense growing, you catch on rather quickly after she goes.
