We stand in silence. It is an unity we all have, for I seek to mark my zeal, for them seek to do me kill.

The knife at her throat, though should one inspect closely, she does seem to slack.

Tis the Call of Warmth.

I have her mind.

She was never so tough, for she is a scholar.

'Hi'

'Hello sir. The fact that your blade is on my throat doesn't make this easy does it?'

'I mean not harm, lady. But you see, we shouldn't have fought in the first place. The magic out burst was but a misunderstanding.' To be honest, this fight was never expected, twas probably just automatic response.

But it works, not fluently, but something. I thought to self

'Should we cease, fair Duchess? I shall not hold you hostage, I wish for peaceful relations, and we can talk at a negotiation... floor.' Since she is now under my influence, there is no point in fighting her. At peace is the only way to generate most benefit.

'Fair' Of-course, this is probably so easy because she is under influence

As our in-mind negotiation concludes. She speaks.

To her men: "Cease your weapons men, there was no point in our attacks. The situation is quite clear, leave the negotiation to me."

I did not cease my blade, though it did loosen slightly

Although, to my surprise, the men of hers, ceased their weapons immediately, without hesitations.

"Yes my lady!" Is what they spoke of.

Normally, these close bodyguards will hesitate a bit, to show loyalty and care towards their lord. At least it was a tradition then. May haps now such has changed, or may haps they are so loyal, they need not to show, but to only follow lord's command.

I like this more, more efficient, less courtesy waste.

"Harald, you stay, Peter, Mike, Josh, Charle, you guys stay here, the others, exit. We need place for negotiation. Worry not, for he needs peace too." Spoke the Duchess.
