Flee from a potentially volatile situation

There’s no way I want that thing in me butt! This man is beyond foul!

You turn over as if presenting yourself only to actually kick out the scarred man’s leg. This elicits a yelp of surprise as he falls forward beside you. Getting to your feet, you make for the exit to the alley.

“You fackin’ cunt!” The man says spitting blood. The sudden drop seemed to have caused him to bite part of his tongue off. He grabs for your leg but you kick away his hand successfully, running as fast as your legs can carry you. Darting past his associate and the homeless girl, you keep running and don’t look back. After a good few minutes of running, you go off in search of your party. After some time of searching, you find them traversing the markets.

“Well, Iyda? What the hell was that stunt?” Your elven companion asks angerly.

“Sorry but I wanted to try and save that girl. Could’nae stomach the idea of doing anythin’ with that foul man though.”

“As I said.” Syvella snaps back “It was a waste of time and drew more attention than necessary. Just follow my lead next time.”

A short time later you find yourself outside an unassuming hovel of a building. Seems to be some sort of gambling den by the surrounding signs. Still not entirely how the interaction is going to play out, you decide to speak up.

“So uh, either of you two actually got a plan here?”

Frost turns to you a nervous smile on her face.

“I have no idea what’s going on, but I doooo not like it here! It’s just real gross.”

“Shush you two.” Svella says speaking up. “We just need to startle him a bit and he should give up my gold. Redhook is a notorious coward.”

“So we just go in or?” Frost asks quizzically. One step ahead, Syvella enters through the front door. “Guess that’s a yes huh…” Frost shrugs before following.
