The happiness that both couples felt in that moment persisted. Monique and Elizabeth Sparks had three more children. Mira and Douglas happily raised their daughter, Kannika. They both split custody of Emily, Aaron and Katie.

Their children took different lessons. Both eventually became aware that their stepmother Monique was a Black transsexual. Emily focused on the Black part, dating a local Black man she'd met in college. Aaron and Katie, however, wanted both, just like their mom had, moving to Atlanta to find what they were seeking -- Black transsexuals.
