First Impressions

William was rather taken aback with the size of his new university campus. The pictures in the university website didn't help him much to understand the campus size. He was visibly gawking at the view in front of him.

"There's a lot more left to be surprised about now, William" came Andrew's voice from behind him.

William turned around to look at Andrew's struggling to handle all three of his bags at once and he rushed over to help, putting his thoughts about the campus to the side.

"Sorry, there Andrew! Campus is pretty large, so I was a bit... uhh..."

"Mesmerized?" laughed Andrew. "Oh trust me, you'll be having the time of your life here. It's a great place and your aunt would be happy if you enjoy yourself. Too bad she couldn't make it here today though."

"Don't fret it, I'll be sure to call her today evening." replied William.

Andrew had graduated from Kensington in the past and knew the place well. He was giving William a few tidbits about the campus as they made their way to the university dorms. After talking to the RA, both of them made their way towards William's dorm room. Once there, Andrew had helped him unpack and settle down. William was a bit happy that he bagged a single room and wouldn't be having to share with anyone.

William lied in the bed thinking about his future. Tomorrow's going to be the Freshman Orientation and there's also going to be a Fresher's Party tomorrow evening. He wanted to get serious now. Partying is the last thing on his mind right now and socializing with others isn't what he's looking forward to. A few new friends won't hurt for a peaceful university life but love...

His past come flooding down and remembering her words still hurt him. Love isn't on to-do list right now and he hopes it won't be for the next four years.
