Chapter 9

What's next?
First Flight
You and Liam walked side by side toward the hall, your heels clicking softly against the pavement. A few days ago, you’d barely been able to manage walking in these things—stumbling, nearly falling flat on your face more times than you cared to admit. But now? Luna walked with grace, with ease, the clicking of the heels underlining every confident step. You even felt a strange satisfaction with how they lengthened your stride, made your legs look longer.
Liam cast you a sideways glance, impressed. "You sure you’ve never done this before?" he asked, smirking.
You rolled your eyes playfully. "Please, babe, this is nothing. Walk in flats for too long, and you start to miss the height." The words came out smoothly, naturally. It wasn’t like you were trying to be someone else—it just flowed, like it was all second nature now.
He chuckled, shaking his head. "Alright, Luna. Let’s just hope this goes smoothly."
As you approached the hall, you could already see the small crowd gathering outside. Banners decorated the entrance, emblazoned with the letters of Pi Beta Phi in white and gold, fluttering softly in the evening breeze. It was some kind of introductory event, meant to showcase the sorority to the public, debunk the stereotypes, and show what Pi Beta Phi was really about.
Ashley stood near the entrance, talking to a group of girls. She waved when she saw Liam and you approaching. The moment was here—the real test. Liam had arranged everything, introduced the two of you as siblings, and now it was time to see if you could blend in.
"Hey, Liam!" Ashley called, smiling brightly as she jogged over to meet you. Her long blonde hair bounced with every step, her figure hugged by a form-fitting white dress. "It’s been forever!"
Liam grinned, stepping forward for a hug. "Ashley, yeah, it's been a while! I want you to meet my...sister, Luna."
Ashley’s eyes flickered toward you, and you could tell she was sizing you up. For a brief second, your heart raced in your chest, but then she smiled warmly, and you knew you’d passed the first test.
"Luna! It’s so great to meet you!" she said, her tone genuine. "You’re just as hot as your brother."
You gave a coy smile, a hint of a blush creeping into your cheeks. "Stop it, girl," you said, your voice teasing but confident. "You’re gonna make me blush."
Liam, standing between you two, grinned. "I’ll let you girls catch up. I’m just gonna hang around, see if I can spot anyone I know from Phi Delta Theta."
Ashley perked up. "Oh, for sure! The guys from Phi Delt should be showing up soon. We always do these events together. But, Luna, come with me. I wanna introduce you to a few of the girls."
With a nod and a smile, you followed Ashley into the hall, giving Liam one last look. He shot you a thumbs-up before slipping away to do his part of the plan. Now, it was time for you to work your magic.
The inside of the hall was vibrant, bustling with girls from Pi Beta Phi mingling with each other and with the few newcomers who had shown up to check out the event. Tables were set up with displays about sorority life—community outreach, sisterhood, leadership opportunities—meant to highlight how Pi Beta Phi was more than just the party stereotype. It was a place of belonging.
Ashley pulled you over to a group of girls sitting near a table, all of them dressed impeccably in white. They immediately welcomed you into their circle, and before long, the conversation took off, flowing naturally. It started innocuously enough—introductions, compliments on outfits, but as the night wore on, things got a little more real.
"Okay, so I gotta ask," one of the girls, a petite brunette named Mia, leaned in, "have you ever had a guy try to pull the whole 'I'm not looking for anything serious' line, and then next thing you know, he’s texting you every day like you're already exclusive?"
Ashley scoffed. "Girl, please. That’s like... every guy. It’s the ‘I don’t want a relationship’ trap—keep you just close enough so you don’t leave but far enough that they don’t have to commit."
You found yourself nodding along, chuckling at the shared experience. "Oh my god, yes," you said, leaning in conspiratorially. "And then, when you finally decide to move on, he’s the one who freaks out, like you broke his heart or something."
Mia laughed, almost spilling her drink. "Exactly! And then he hits you with the ‘I thought we had something special.’ Like, no dude, you thought you had something special."
Ashley grinned, shaking her head. "Seriously. Guys are the worst sometimes. But, I guess they do have their uses."
The conversation shifted, flowing naturally from topic to topic—guys, dating, school. You’d have thought that at some point, you’d feel like an outsider, like a fraud in the middle of all this girl talk. But no. You were in it. Engaged, laughing, sharing your own experiences. And none of them seemed to doubt for a second that you belonged.
“So, Luna," Ashley asked, her voice dropping just a bit as she leaned closer to you. "What’s your type? You into the jock types, or you like the artsy, sensitive guys?"
You smirked, rolling your eyes. "Please, I’ve had enough jocks to last me a lifetime. Give me a guy who knows how to listen for once. You know, someone who actually gives a damn about what you’re saying instead of just waiting for his turn to talk."
Ashley laughed, nodding in agreement. "Preach. Sometimes the muscles just aren’t worth the ego."
Liam, trailing behind the two of you as you walked around the event, was clearly amused. He kept a little distance, doing his best to blend in with the guys from Phi Delta Theta that had started arriving, chatting casually with Ashley’s friends. His part of the plan was going well, but you could tell by the way he glanced at you from time to time that he was amazed by how easily you were pulling this off.
At one point, he managed to slip over to you as Ashley was talking to another group of girls. "Damn, Luna, you’re really killing it," he whispered, a hint of surprise in his voice. "I thought this would be way more awkward."
You flashed him a playful grin. "Well, what can I say? I’m a natural."
Liam chuckled, shaking his head. "You seriously sound just like them now. It’s kinda freaky."
You swatted him playfully. "Go focus on your frat bros, Liam. I’m busy being fabulous."
He raised his hands in mock surrender. "Alright, alright. I’ll let you get back to your girl talk. Just remember—Ashley’s your way to Michelle. Don’t lose sight of the plan."
You nodded, though at this point, you felt like you could handle anything this sorority threw at you. You and Ashley were hitting it off, and she clearly liked you. All you had to do now was get through the rest of the night, keep building that rapport, and make sure you were in prime position for the real trial: finding Michelle and figuring out how to survive whatever came next.
As the night continued, you knew one thing for sure: tonight, you were more than just a dude in a dress. You were Luna, and you were ready to take on the world.
You stick close to Ashley throughout the evening, maneuvering the conversation with careful precision. She’s warm, open, and definitely likes you. But as the night wears on, you know that this friendship isn’t just for show—you have a mission. Michelle is the key to completing Aphrodite's trial, and Ashley is your way in.
“So, Ashley,” you say casually, leaning in as if to share a secret, “I’ve heard so much about Pi Beta Phi’s president, Michelle. What’s she like?”
Ashley’s face lights up at the mention of Michelle. “Oh, Michelle? She’s amazing—honestly, the best. She’s super smart, but she’s also a total badass. Like, she runs this sorority with an iron fist, but in a good way, you know? She’s… hard to get close to, though.”
Your stomach tightens slightly at her last words. Getting to Michelle was going to be a challenge. But you keep your face composed, offering Ashley a smile. "I can imagine. A girl like that probably doesn't just let anyone in."
"Exactly," Ashley agrees, flipping her hair back. "But hey, if you stick around long enough, who knows? She might warm up to you."
That’s when it hits you. If you’re going to get to Michelle, you need Ashley to really like you, more than she already does. You need to be more than just the new girl hanging around—you need to be her friend. Maybe even more than that. Time to get cozy.
You smile playfully and lean closer to her, your tone dropping into a more intimate one. “So, Ash, let’s talk about the real stuff. You’re super hot, you must have some wild stories, right? You know, when it comes to guys.”
Ashley grins, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Oh my god, where do I even start?" She laughs, clearly enjoying the attention. "I’ve had my fair share of hookups, but... okay, fine, I'll tell you this one. Your brother, Liam."
Hearing his name makes your stomach twist, and for a split second, your old self—you—wants to cringe. But Luna doesn’t. Luna is interested.
You tilt your head, feigning curiosity. “Liam? You and him hooked up?”
Ashley giggles, clearly loving the gossip. "Yeah, back in the day. He’s so hot, isn’t he? I mean, don’t you think?"
Normally, you'd want to puke hearing this, but Luna leans into it. You even flash a wicked grin. “Oh, totally. He’s... big, isn’t he?” you say, your voice teasing.
Ashley laughs, nodding. "Girl, you have no idea. Like, I’ve hooked up with plenty of guys, but Liam? He’s definitely one of the best. We hooked up a few times in freshman year, and trust me, he’s packing."
You laugh along, your mind spinning at the casual way you’re talking about Liam’s sex life. "Damn, I didn’t know my brother had it like that," you say with a smirk. Then, feeling bold, you add, "Honestly, sometimes I think about what it’d be like. You know, in that totally taboo way. What if we just... crossed that line?"
The comment hangs in the air for a moment, and you wonder if maybe you’ve gone too far. But Ashley’s eyes light up, and she giggles, her hand brushing your arm. "Oh my god, that is so wild. I love it. Honestly, if you did, I’d totally want to hear all about it."
You laugh, playing along. "Well, if I ever do, you’ll be the first to know."
Ashley leans in even closer now, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. "You know what, Luna? You’re pretty cool. I didn’t think I’d hit it off with someone so fast, but you... you’re awesome."
You smile warmly, but inside, you know this is exactly where you need to be. You’re getting closer to Ashley, earning her trust—and that’s going to be your key to Michelle.
Ashley glances around the room, making sure no one is listening before she leans in. "Okay, I shouldn’t be telling you this, but you’re already in deep with us, so what the hell. Michelle has this... inner circle. Like, the real power in the sorority? It’s not with all the girls, it’s with the few she trusts most. And you’re right—she’s hard to get close to, but once you’re in with her... let’s just say you get access to everything. You get it?"
Your heart skips a beat. This was it—what you needed. The inner circle. If you could get into that, Michelle would be within reach.
Ashley continues, "I could put in a word for you. You’re cool, and I feel like Michelle would love you. It’s not easy, but... I think you’ve got what it takes."
You flash her a smile, grateful but calculating. "That would be amazing, Ashley. Seriously. I’d love to get to know you girls even more."
Ashley smiles back, clearly pleased with how well things are going. Then she leans in, her voice teasing again. “But you gotta tell me, Luna... You ever gonna make a move on Liam? I mean, after what you said... now I’m curious.”
You laugh, shaking your head. "We’ll see. I guess you never know what might happen, right?"
Ashley grins, and you can tell that your conversation, this entire night, has solidified her interest in you. The plan is working, and you’re getting closer. Step by step, you’re getting closer to Michelle—and to the heart of Aphrodite’s trial.
The event was in full swing now. Girls were scattered around the hall in little clusters, laughing, chatting, and mingling with the guys who had shown up from the connected fraternity. But you, Luna, were focused on only one thing: getting closer to Ashley—and by extension, Michelle.
Ashley was clearly warming up to you, practically pulling you along by the arm as the two of you found a spot on one of the plush couches set up in the corner of the hall. The conversation had been getting steadily raunchier, and you could tell she was loving the easy banter, the shared interest in all things girl talk, especially the dirtiest of topics. You had to keep pushing.
“So,” you start, raising an eyebrow playfully, “what’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done with a guy?”
Ashley’s face lights up as she leans in conspiratorially, her eyes gleaming. "Oh my god, okay, but you have to promise not to judge me."
You laugh, already knowing this is going exactly where you need it to. "No judgment, trust me. I’m all ears."
Ashley glances around before lowering her voice, still grinning. "Alright, so you know Phi Delta, right? They throw the wildest parties. I was dating one of the guys there, and… let’s just say we got a little wild one night after their initiation."
You nod, encouraging her to keep going. Ashley bites her lip, clearly loving the thrill of telling you. "We ended up sneaking into the frat house’s library, and… we tried everything. It was so hot. Like, every position we could think of. He even bent me over one of the tables, and we went at it until someone almost walked in." She giggles, clearly proud of the story.
You smirk, trying to match her energy, even though deep down this would normally make you squirm. But Luna? She leans into it. "Damn, girl. You’re wild."
Ashley grins, basking in the compliment. "What about you? You’ve gotta have some crazy stories too."
You hesitate, trying to think quickly. Luna takes the reins. "Well... there was this one time with this guy I was seeing. He was into some... kinky stuff. Let’s just say he liked to tie me up and have me totally at his mercy."
Ashley gasps, clearly impressed. "No way. Bondage? You? That’s hot, Luna!"
You shrug, feigning modesty. "Hey, a girl’s gotta try new things, right?"
As the two of you continue, it becomes clear that Ashley is growing more comfortable, more open. This is your moment.
“So… you mentioned Michelle has this, like, inner circle?” you ask, your tone light and innocent. “What’s that about? Sounds like some serious girl power vibes.”
Ashley’s grin falters for just a second, her eyes flickering with something you can’t quite place—hesitation, maybe. But then she leans in closer, her voice lowering again. "Okay, so like… it’s super secret. No one outside the sorority really knows, and only a few girls in Pi Beta even know the full details."
You nod, pretending to hang on her every word, because you are.
“The inner circle… it’s not just about power in the sorority. It’s about trust. Michelle is… well, she’s kind of into some... stuff. And if you’re in her circle, she expects you to be willing to do whatever she asks."
You raise an eyebrow, feigning curiosity. "What kind of stuff?"
Ashley looks around nervously before continuing. "Well, let’s just say Michelle likes control. She’ll sometimes ask the girls in her inner circle to, like, seduce guys for certain reasons. Get information, get favors… whatever she needs. And… there are rumors she’s asked a few of them to do even more."
Your heart races as you realize just how deep this goes. Michelle wasn’t just some sorority queen—she was manipulating the girls in her inner circle for her own gain. This was the leverage you needed, and you couldn’t believe how easily Ashley was spilling the beans.
"What do you mean by ‘even more’?" you press, keeping your voice low and steady.
Ashley bites her lip, clearly enjoying the thrill of sharing forbidden knowledge. "Like... really kinky stuff. Some of the girls have done things for her that… well, let’s just say it’s not for the faint of heart. And it’s not always with guys. Michelle’s got a thing for... variety."
You feel your stomach flip at the implication. Was Michelle coercing the girls into sexual acts for her own benefit? You couldn’t be sure, but it seemed like there was more going on here than just sisterly loyalty.
"But why would they do that?" you ask, feigning innocence.
Ashley shrugs. "Power. Michelle rewards loyalty. And once you’re in, you’re in. She takes care of her girls, but you’ve gotta be willing to play the game."
You nod slowly, absorbing everything. The inner circle wasn’t just about being close to Michelle—it was about control, manipulation, and a willingness to do whatever it took. This was the path to completing Aphrodite’s trial, but it wasn’t going to be easy.
Still, you couldn’t help but feel a twisted sense of excitement. This was it—the next step in your plan. You had to get close to Michelle, and to do that, you needed Ashley to trust you completely.
“So… how do I get in?” you ask, your voice soft but steady.
Ashley looks at you, her expression unreadable for a moment. Then she grins, leaning back on the couch. "You’re already on the right path, Luna. Stick with me, and I’ll make sure Michelle notices you. But… just be ready. Once you’re in, there’s no going back."
You nod, your heart pounding in your chest. This was it—the next step in your mission. You were getting closer to Michelle, closer to completing the trial. But as you sat there, listening to Ashley talk about the secrets of the inner circle, you couldn’t shake the feeling that things were going to get a lot more complicated—and a lot more dangerous.
But you were in too deep now. There was no turning back.
The conversation between you and Ashley had settled into a surprisingly easy rhythm. The two of you bounced from topic to topic, drifting between wild sex stories, porn preferences, and the hottest positions like it was the most natural thing in the world.
“So, what’s your go-to in bed?” Ashley asked, leaning back on the couch and giving you a cheeky grin.
You smirked, leaning in like you were sharing some deep secret. “Oh, I’m all about being on top. There’s something about having control that drives me wild.”
Ashley raised her eyebrows. “Damn, girl. I didn’t take you for the dominant type. I like that.”
You laugh, flipping your hair over your shoulder. “Oh, you’d be surprised what I’m into.”
Ashley giggled, clearly loving the vibe between the two of you. “Okay, what about porn? What do you watch?”
You didn’t hesitate, even though you—the real you—would have been squirming in discomfort. But Luna? Luna leaned right into it. “Girl-on-girl, mostly. There’s something about the way they just know exactly what to do, you know? It’s so hot.”
Ashley nodded enthusiastically. “Oh my god, same! They’re so much more sensual. And don’t get me started on the threesomes. Like, ugh, why is it so much hotter when there are three people involved?”
You both laugh, the conversation flowing easily as the topics get dirtier and dirtier. Everything from anal to tit size to the best kinds of porn had been covered, and you felt like you were truly connecting with her.
But then, out of the corner of your eye, you saw her—Michelle, gliding through the room like she owned the place, her presence immediately commanding the attention of everyone nearby. She was stunning, with long, dark hair and a figure that would make Aphrodite herself jealous. You froze, watching as Ashley’s eyes widened.
“Oh my god, there she is,” Ashley whispered, grabbing your arm in excitement. “This is your moment.”
You nodded, feeling a flutter of nerves despite Luna’s confidence. But before you could overthink it, Ashley stood up and waved Michelle over.
“Michelle! Come meet my new friend!” Ashley called out.
Michelle’s eyes flicked over to the two of you, her expression unreadable as she made her way over. You could feel your heart pounding in your chest, but Luna was already kicking into high gear, ready to turn up the charm.
As soon as Michelle got within earshot, Ashley practically beamed. “Michelle, this is Luna. She’s new here, and we’ve been talking all night. You have to meet her.”
Michelle’s eyes narrowed slightly as she looked you up and down, clearly sizing you up. But instead of feeling intimidated, Luna stepped forward with a confident smile.
“Michelle, it’s so amazing to finally meet you,” you said, your voice smooth and sweet. “I’ve heard so much about you.”
Michelle tilted her head, her gaze lingering on you for a moment longer. “Is that so?”
You nodded, leaning into the conversation just like you’d been practicing. “Yeah, Ashley’s been telling me all about how you run things around here. It’s honestly inspiring. I can tell you don’t take any shit, and I love that.”
A small, approving smile flickered across Michelle’s lips. “I like her,” she said to Ashley, though her eyes stayed on you.
You felt a surge of confidence. You could do this. You _were _doing this.
“I mean, the way you’ve turned this sorority into such a powerhouse? That’s no small feat. It takes a lot of strength and leadership to pull something like that off, and it’s clear you’ve got both in spades,” you continued, playing up the flattery just enough to sound genuine.
Michelle’s eyes flickered with amusement. “You’ve got quite the mouth on you, don’t you?”
You gave a little shrug, flashing her a coy smile. “Only when I’m impressed.”
Michelle let out a small laugh, clearly enjoying the banter. “Well, I’m glad to hear that. We could always use more girls with… initiative.”
You felt the tension in the air shift, like you’d just passed some kind of test. Michelle was clearly intrigued, but you weren’t done yet.
“I’d love to learn more,” you said, your voice low and suggestive. “I mean, if you’d be willing to show me.”
Michelle stepped closer, her lips curving into a small, knowing smile. “I think I like you, Luna.”
You felt a wave of relief, but you didn’t let it show. Instead, you kept your gaze steady, your smile confident.
Michelle leaned in, her voice dropping to a whisper. “We’re having a party tomorrow night. First one of the school year. It’s kind of a private event, but… I think you should come. Consider it your first step toward something bigger.”
Your heart raced at the invitation, but you kept your composure, nodding like it was no big deal. “I’d love that.”
Michelle gave you one last appraising look before turning to Ashley. “Make sure she’s ready.” And just like that, she walked away, leaving you and Ashley standing there.
The second Michelle was out of earshot, Ashley turned to you with wide eyes. “Oh my god, Luna, that was amazing! I can’t believe she invited you to the party! She never does that for new girls!”
You grinned, still riding the high of the interaction. “I guess I made a good impression.”
Ashley practically squealed in excitement, grabbing your hands. “Girl, you’re in! This is huge! You’ve got Michelle’s attention now, and trust me, once she’s got her eye on you, things start happening fast.”
You nodded, feeling a rush of excitement—and a little bit of dread. You were one step closer to getting into Michelle’s inner circle, but that also meant you were one step closer to whatever twisted games she had in store.
But for now, you had a party to prepare for. And this time, you wouldn’t be just some outsider looking in. You’d be right in the thick of it.
As you and Ashley continued talking, swapping more sex stories and makeup tips, you couldn’t help but feel a strange sense of exhilaration. Luna was thriving in this world, playing the part perfectly.
And tomorrow night, you’d get even closer to the truth—and to completing the first trial.
The atmosphere was electric as you and Liam walked back from the hall, the night air buzzing with excitement and the remnants of laughter from the event still lingering in your ears. You couldn’t help but feel a sense of accomplishment as you recounted the evening to him.
“I can’t believe it worked out so perfectly! I mean, Michelle actually invited me to the party tomorrow night!” you said, practically bouncing on your heels.
Liam chuckled, running a hand through his hair. “Dude, that’s insane! I can’t believe you actually charmed her like that. You’re not just some random girl to her anymore.”
You grinned, reveling in the victory. “Right? And you won’t believe the stuff we talked about. I mean, we got into everything—sex stories, preferences, the hottest positions. It was wild, Liam! I even joked about having sex with you as a taboo brother-sister thing.” You laughed, the memory making you feel giddy.
Liam’s eyes widened, and he nearly stumbled in surprise. “Wait, what? You said that? You’re kidding!”
You shrugged, a flirty smile playing on your lips as you leaned a little closer, your voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. “What can I say? I guess I just felt like I was in the zone, you know?”
He shook his head, a mix of disbelief and amusement on his face. “Dude, this is a whole new level of crazy. I can’t even believe you’re saying those words.”
“Well, you know me,” you replied with a playful flick of your hair, the gesture feeling strangely natural. “Always ready to push the boundaries.” You tossed a wink his way, and Liam’s expression shifted from shocked to genuinely impressed.
As you walked, you found yourself unconsciously adopting more feminine gestures, swaying your hips slightly as you strolled beside him. You noticed him glance at you, his brow raised in curiosity. “You’re really getting into this, aren’t you?”
“Getting into what?” you asked, feigning innocence, even as you let out a soft laugh.
“The whole…feminine thing,” Liam replied, shaking his head in disbelief. “Your walk, your voice—everything. It’s like you’re a different person.”
You smirked, twirling a strand of your hair around your finger. “Maybe I just like this side of me.” You emphasized the last word, your tone flirtatious, and you could see Liam trying to process it all.
“Okay, but seriously, we need to come up with a plan to sneak into that party tomorrow,” he said, switching gears. “I ran into some of the guys from the frat earlier, but they didn’t invite me to the party with you. So, if we want to crash it, we’ll have to be sneaky.”
You nodded, feeling a thrill at the idea. “I’m down for a little adventure. I mean, if we play our cards right, we can mingle with both groups.”
“Exactly,” he replied, his eyes brightening at the thought. “Plus, with you on my arm, it’ll be way easier to blend in.”
“On your arm?” you teased, giving him a playful nudge with your shoulder. “I thought you wanted to be with the guys? Don’t tell me you’re getting all possessive now.”
He rolled his eyes, but a smile broke through. “You know what I mean. It’s just—having you around makes everything feel different. You’re like a whole new person.”
You felt a warmth spread through you at his words, and for a moment, everything felt perfect. “Well, let’s just say this new person is ready to make some waves.”
Liam chuckled, shaking his head in disbelief again. “You’re wild, you know that?”
You laughed, the sound bubbling up from somewhere deep inside you. “I’ve always been wild. You just never noticed.”
“Maybe I just never looked closely enough,” he said, glancing over at you with a thoughtful expression. “But it’s kind of awesome to see you like this.”
You felt your heart flutter at his words, and as you stepped off the path onto a small grassy area, you playfully kicked some grass towards him. “Aw, thanks, bestie. You’re not so bad yourself.”
As the two of you continued to talk and joke, the atmosphere felt lighter and more carefree. You were ready for whatever came next, knowing that you had Liam by your side and a party to look forward to.
Everything was falling into place, and you couldn’t help but feel that maybe, just maybe, you could make this work.
