Chapter 4 by BonusPhantom BonusPhantom

What perils await Shiloh in New York City?

First, she must get there.

New York City lay far away from Africa. Across a whole ocean in fact. A body of water so vast that Shiloh had trouble comprehending such a thing. There was no way her legs could carry her so far, she would need to make use of something from a city.

She moved at night, trusting the shadows to hide her from the preying eyes of civilisation. The 'civilised' humans always wanted to put chains on creatures of the jungle, and she knew that she herself would be no different. Eventually she came to the docks, the scent of the ocean overwhleming her as she prowled and spied on the men working here, listening and seeking for a ship that would take here where she needed to go.

The men she had to spy on were another issue though. Shiloh spent her time around flora and fauna, the beasts of the wild. Her contact with other humans was limited, and her wild instincts were strong. As she had grown, her body changing under her, she had felt a growing impulse, one that strengthened whenever she near human men. Her body wanted her to mate... she wanted to mate, and on some instinctive level she knew that that was how she would end up in chains. Mammals often had a dominant gender, and for humans, she feared it was the male, and that her instincts would make a broodmare of her. Being near strong men, labouring away, it triggered those instincts and she had to fight to **** them down.

"I am Shiloh, Girl of the Jungle. I am not chained, I am wild, and I have a mission."

In time she found a vessel, The Amphitrite, which was sailing to carry goods to the faraway city. It was her only option, though the journey would take 30 days, she had to wonder if she was best sneaking aboard and trying to remain hidden, or perhaps finding some other way to secure passage.

What's the plan?
