Fireworks and waterworks

You don’t know how long you had been out for but you wake up with your head on Trish’s lap, she was looking down at you and stroking your hair. This instantly calms you down and you feel safe once again, “You ok sweetie?” She asks with a smile looking lovingly down at you. You nod “Yes, did he manage to … get me?” You asks suddenly looking very worried but she shakes her head “Got here before he could do anything but … he was sure close to pushing in”.

You let out a shaky sigh of relief and slowly sit up, shifting to sit next to Trish, she cuddls you in close as you start to shake. “I’m … I’m fine … Really … Was not scared out of my mind.” You say now clinging to Trish as well as cuddling her tight. You start to calm down with help from Trish’s calming and supportive words, she was happy to just stay there cuddled up letting you recover. “I’m sorry I did not get back sooner, they caught you and dragged you off when you tried to run away?” She asks, you nod and manage a few words, “Yes … They dragged me away ... Even started discussing what they were going to do … how they were going to use me all night long, before I tried to run after you.” You manage to explain.

“Its ok now, they are gone and I am here. The fireworks will start soon then we can head home, don’t let those horny idiots ruin the great day we have had together.” She says cuddling you tighter to herself. You stay like this until the announcement that the fireworks display will start very soon, “Let’s find a good spot to watch” Trish says standing up and helping you up. You walk over to the display viewing area finding a good more private place to watch from. Like before you were both going around with arms linked holding hands, but this time you pressed yourself to Trish’s side. What happened affecting you deeply and making you stick close to Trish, not wanting to be parted again.

The display soon starts and you both watch with amassment at the beautiful display, you glance sidewards to watch Trish’s reactions noting how beautiful her face looks with the colours dancing over it. You wanted to be with her more this you were sure of, as a more noisy part of the display starts up you can no longer hold back your feelings, “I love you … I wish this could last forever.” You say watching the display, this means you fail to see Trish blush hard and go wide eyed, glancing over to you. You think she never heard you but she did and it would have been clear to you that she felt the same, but for now she did not reply.

The display continues on for a good five to ten minutes longer before coming to a big finish, you did not say another word during the display, but slowly you feel more and more sad as you don’t want things to end. You want to stay with Trish but you don’t know how she will react to the truth, you don’t even really care about being turned back in the morning, in fact you feel it would be better to stay as a girl and just be Trish’s girlfriend. She does not appear to mind the idea and you get the feeling she would rather like this over having a boyfriend.

These thoughts continue and grow stronger, along with what had happened with the trio your emotions run riot, the fear and helpless feeling comes back along with the feeling of not wanting to lose Trish ever. Soon enough tears start to run down your face, you don’t know why for sure but you do know it is to do with not wanting things to end. Trish looks to you now the display was over and sees you crying, “Was it that good a fireworks display that you were moved to tears? Or was it that you saw it with me?” She asks with a wink playfully teasing. You shake your head softly “I … I don’t want this to end.” You manage to say before you fully break down, dropping to your knees, face in your hands, sobbing but quietly enough that no one around even noticed.
