Finish making tea

You lean over the stove for a while, catching your breath while watching the kettle heat up. You soon realize the second burner also turned on and press the button to the side to deactivate it.

With a deep breath, you settle yourself and look over to the counter. That's right! You still need to pull down the tea set. You reach for the cabinet above the sink. You can barely reach the handle without coming up on your toes, but to your relief the tea set is waiting for you on the front corner of the bottom shelf. You take mental note of all the fine stemware and porcelain dishes on the higher shelves and wonder what you'll need to do if you ever get asked to retrieve some of those.

For now, though, you return your focus to the tea set. You reach up with both hands, making sure you have a steady grip on the platter before lifting it gingerly from the shelf. The two cups rattle a little as you balance yourself with the extra weight held up so high. You lift the tea set closer to your center of mass as you clear the shelf, securing your balance and letting you bring the tea set down to the counter with little issue. You're about to set it down, however, when a sudden sound startles you enough to almost toss the entire set onto the floor.

The cups and teapot are still rattling on the platter when you look over to the stove, where the kettle has begun whistling, signaling that its job is done. You gingerly place the platter down and turn the stove off, taking a deep breath to calm your nerves again. You then turn back to the counter, taking the lid off the teapot and opening the box of tea. Inside the box is a large bag of loose leaf tea, the earthy aroma of which nearly overwhelms you when you open it up.

"Use as much as you like," Master preemptively advises. "It's hard to overdo it for that flavor." You nod over your shoulder as you scoop up two small handfuls of leaves and drop them into the pot. After closing the box back up, you carefully take the hot kettle and pour the water in, watching the leaves swirl and mix as they release their essence. While the tea brews, you get to work cleaning up. First the kettle is emptied and placed back on the stove to cool, then the box of tea goes back on the bottom shelf where you got it from.

Finally satisfied with your work, you pick up the platter and slowly carry it over to Master's desk. "It should be almost ready, Master," you inform him as you stand next to his desk, not sure what else to do until the tea is ready.

After waiting for about another minute, you take the teapot with both hands and carefully fill one of the cups. Once it is full, you set the pot back down and place the cup on the desk in front of your new master. He nods and takes a sip, his face lighting up in approval of the taste.

"Please, pour yourself some as well," he offers. You hesitate, not sure if it's appropriate for you to enjoy it with him. "Don't worry, there's plenty for both of us," he reassures you.
