Samus once again left the large hall into the control room. "That was quite an experience. I can capture and kill easily. But the extra bounty for live capture would be better. I won't kill unless I have to." Now back at the main console. "I will have all current upgrades except the venom one permanently installed. I feel as though I can do my job much better like this."

The A.I. replied. "Are you certain that you wish for that. You will never be human again."

"Yes, I am sure. I might be a freak but I don't care. I just care about the bounty and keeping people safe."

"Very well then Samus. Prepare for permanent installation." Samus could feel her body tingle all over as the upgrades took hold of her body permanantly. "Upgrades now irreversable. This is how you will look from this point on unless you add more upgrades to alter yourself further."

"Good. Now, I'd like the armour upgrade explained to me please." Samus asked.

"The armour upgrade hardens the exoskeleton on your lower half, It will not be penetrated by gun fire, but can still be damaged with a large enough explosion. It will not slow you down with speed upgrade you already have."

"I like that one. Please give me that one." The upgrade chip landed in the tray before her. Placing it into the slot to proceed with her next step. As the chip started make the changes, she felt the spider half of her body become more solid. Turning her upper half to touch her newly bullet proof behind. Then tapping it. "It feels as hard as steel." Shaking her head in disbelief, she turned back to the console. "Vision upgrade."

"The vision upgrade gives you the ability see as a spider does. You do not actually aquire new eyes, but you will see as though you do. Jumping spiders have the best vision of all spider species."

"Let's try that one then, and make this armour one permanant while we're at it."

The armour upgrade become a lasting part of her now as the vision chip landed before her. This was now placed into the slot. Samus felt dizzy for a second before she noticed how things looked. "My eyes. I, I see things in front of me even clearer. Peripheral vision, I can focus in on something with a little concentration. But it might work." Looking at more options, another stood out. "Instinct upgrade?"

"This chip will give you the instints of what ever creature you have selected. It does not work alone. You cannot become more of what you already are without another D.N.A strand used to make changes to the body. Further more, as you have chosen the spider, your instinct will be to invenomate and kill any prey in your web. You may even decide that you will eat them too. But you will also be able to detect movement that is close to you."

"I will think about that one. Got to think about the money first." Samus returned to the hall. "Computer. Release another prisoner, but before you bring him round, place a zero suit on him and give my original spider upgrade and the stealth upgrade. I want to test this vision one out."

Within minutes, the prisoner arrived, with his now spider lower half. He was still in panic as he looked at his body. He looked up when he noticed Samus standing a few yards away. Looking her up and down. "They done this to you too?"

"No." Replied Samus. "I did this to myself. And I need someone that looks like me to practice on. I asked the A.I. to change you so I could see if you will make a worthy opponent."

"YOU BITCH. I'll fucking kill you for this." His rage carried him forward at incredible speed, catching Samus by suprise. But she held strong, blocking his blows with expertice. Finally she found an opening. Moving to her side and grabbing his arm, she twisted it, lent down, and bit into his neck. Once again injecting the venom into her target.

Then speaking into his ear. "I'm sorry that it had to be this way. But you was sentenced to **** anyway. So why not give you a fighting chance." He died shortly after.
